The location of the hotel is very close to everything. It was only a 10 minute from the train station. Thankfully, when you enter the hotel there is a cold water cooler on the first floor. There is no elevator so you must lift your bags up the steep staircase. We were greeted royally and shown to our room which... more

My room was on the second floor next to the office and I was concerned that it would be noisy...it never was. After the flurry of check in, check out, it was mellow...serene even. Since I am not a high maintenance traveler, I had no problem with the fact that no one is on duty after 8 p.m. It was... more

This is our first time traveling to Italy this past May. It was a 10 day trip 5 in Rome and 5 in Florence. Looking back, our Rome experience could not hold a candle to our Florence experience and a very large part of that was due to the lodging. We stayed at B&B in both Rome and Florence, but... more

I stayed at this hotel with my parents for 2 nights, and the place was wonderful. Most importantly, great location! Hotel staff was extremely helpful with many recommendations on restaurants/gelateria. We had a triple room next to the reception area, but we had no noise issues. The furniture and room décor is pretty, and the room is kept clean. Good... more

We found Residenza dei Pucci in Rick Steves' guide book. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious and beautifully decorated in a simple style. In the morning a nice spread of pastries and beverages were served to get our day started. Marina and Rossella were very helpful in making reservations to the Accademia and Uffizi Museums for us. The ladies also... more

The hotel was very quaint, only 12 rooms, minutes from the Duomo. Our room was spacious for European hotels, very clean and comfortable. The service from the staff was great - assisted with Museum reservations, dinner reservations/suggestions, and tour options. Our only regret is we stayed only 2 nights. We will definitely return for a longer period. more

This little B&B is amazingly located. It is close to the train station and all of the sites to see. The flights of stairs with luggage is a problem, but was expected based on the reviews we read before we booked. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. We had the room right next to the check-in and honestly did... more

Found Rezidenzia dei Pucci in Florence in the Rick Steve's Travel book. The hotel location was awesome - around the corner from Duomo and just down the street from Academia. The rooms were well decorated and the staff went out their way to accomodate us. The rooms were very clean and quite spacious. The breakfast was less than impressive, but... more

We stayed in the hotel for three nights - our party had booked a dozen room in the property. The most irritating problem during our stay was the lack of hot water, for two days of our trip. Service was also not up to scratch, when little details would have changed our overall impression. The hotel is extremely conveniently located,... more

Nice property in the very center of attractions, reasonably priced and well maintained. We found friendly staff, but outside door propped opened frequently. We had a sum of money stolen from our room overnight (inside job?). Per Florence police, they have already had similar report from this hotel. No safe for valuables available here. more
