Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, much more cosier and welcoming than a hotel. Great location - just a few steps from the Duomo. Our room was large and elegantly decorated. Marina and Rossella were extremely helpful, they gave us an excellent insight to the city and thanks to them we were able to do the most of our stay in Florence... more

We did a two week trip and stayed in 8 different hotels. This one was by far the best. Our room was clean, elegant and peaceful. The staff was wonderful, fun and helpful. It was also a good value. We had some hotels that cost much more but we got less. Highly recommended. more

We weren't expecting extravagant but this hotel really was just ok. Negatives: The breakfast was not good at all, it was basically fruit pies and cereal with warm milk, and it was served in a tiny room where maybe 2 people could eat. The beds were 2 twin beds pulled together that were hard as rocks and the pillows were... more

Warning: To anyone who plans to take their fantasy vacation to Italy, do not stay here at this B&B. The reception at the front desk was welcoming when we arrived, however when using the sink in the bathroom, somehow something that looked and smelled like raw sewage came up in a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. We... more

We had a top floor suite, the steps were a little rough at the end of the day but it was fine. The view from the room was of the Duomo and the large picture windows made you feel like you were in an expensive suite! The breakfast was fine but really no seating. The staff was extremely helpful in... more

Residenza Dei Pucci is a charming bed and breakfast literally a block away from the Duomo and the center of the city. We had a room with a balcony and it was great to check out the street scene below. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very big with high ceilings. For $100 a night including... more

The location of the hotel is very close to everything. It was only a 10 minute from the train station. Thankfully, when you enter the hotel there is a cold water cooler on the first floor. There is no elevator so you must lift your bags up the steep staircase. We were greeted royally and shown to our room which... more

My room was on the second floor next to the office and I was concerned that it would be noisy...it never was. After the flurry of check in, check out, it was mellow...serene even. Since I am not a high maintenance traveler, I had no problem with the fact that no one is on duty after 8 p.m. It was... more

This is our first time traveling to Italy this past May. It was a 10 day trip 5 in Rome and 5 in Florence. Looking back, our Rome experience could not hold a candle to our Florence experience and a very large part of that was due to the lodging. We stayed at B&B in both Rome and Florence, but... more
