With Air air BnB and all, the expectations for travel experience is changing these days. We have run into this gorgeous BNB with high class hotel perks. There is no restaurant, but who cares when you step outside and you have all the super Cafes and Italian restaurants around you. The reception is open only in the morning but who... More

This place is a real gem for travellers seeking to get a real taste of Florence. Its location allows to walk around each attraction in Florence, surrounded by several nice coffee shops, bars and restaurants, a few steps away from the very animated Piazza della Republicca and the glorious piazza della Signoria. Francesca, on of the owners, is extremely helpful... More

What a great find and one of the best b&b I have ever stayed in Italy. Rooms large and ensuite solo traveller and perfect! Severes continental breakfast. Classically designed and hotel gives a great feel of Florence. Location is perfect in the heart of Florence, surrounded by many eating places to discover. Shops and market by hotel and uffizi main... Relais Cavalcanti is one of the best BB I have ever stayed.Decorated with a refine taste. Every room has its own artistic theme. Relais Cavalcanti intensifies the Florence experience and it travels you through the time of the Old City. It is in the heart of the Old City, waking distance from anywhere. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The... More

Other reviewers have said most of what is to be said about this place - very clean, excellent location, helpful owners/staff. We were a family group getting together, and the sitting room with cake etc from which to help yourself was much appreciated when we just wanted to sit together and catch up. While I've given this an excellent rating,... More

We loved this hotel. It was spotlessly clean and furnished with beautiful Italian furniture. The hosts Francessca, Anna and Akko were really warm and genuinely welcoming and gave us a map on our arrival with recommendations for places to eat. The couple of restaurants we visited were excellent so I would trust their recommendations again WHEN we return. The position... More

Stayed at Relais Cavalcanti just recently. Perfect location where we walked straight out into the history and culture of Florence. Ponto Vecchio and Uffizi museum just minutes away. Anna and Francesca did a brilliant job even before we arrived and gave us lots of good advice after arrival. We felt very much at home staying here.

Lovely apartments in a great location. Easy walking distance to Uffizi Gallery and other main attractions. Very helpful reception staff. They gave us a map with recommendations for good restaurants, pizza places and ice cream shops marked on it. We tried them all and were not disappointed! The room was beautiful and had excellent views. Cannot fault these apartments at... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
