Great room in a stunning old apartment. Even though we were above a pub, the double-glazed windows meant it was very quiet in our room (although the air-conditioner was a little noisy). The apartment is in walking distance to everywhere in Florence and is very easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in the center of everything. The rooms are spacious and the common parlor and kitchen are great places to meet other travelers from around the world and share experiences. It is quiet even though our room overlooked the bustling market on the street below. We had a problem with the power in our room but Anna and... More

An absolute adorable B&B in the centre of Florence. I stayed here with my family (wife, 1 yo son and parents). We had separate rooms. Our rooms was big and beautifully styled. The bathroom was spacoius and modern but in a classic style. I highly recommend this place. Close to shopping, pharmacy, restaurants and sights. Staying here will definately give... More

I loved every minute of my stay at Relais Cavalcanti. Anna, Francesca and Aiko were absolutely lovely, professional and extremely helpful. Aiko greeted me upon arrival and went through everything I would need to know staying in their guest house and things to check out in the surrounding areas. My room was lovely, clean and tidy and a beautiful very... More

I've stayed at Relais Cavalcanti five times since 2003, and it remains my favorite place to stay in all the world. It suits my budget, my sensible tastes, my obsessive need for cleanliness, and my independent travel style. Most recently, we stayed four short nights in the double superior "Botticelli" room, a charming corner room overlooking the Piazza Mercato Nuovo.... More

Located in a prime tourist spot minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi this guest house is quite unique. Stairs and a lift take you from street level to the fourth floor of this large town house. Our room was quaintly styled and well appointed with everything well tended and spotless. We had views over rooftops and down to a... More

We were advised to book this venue when in Florence and what a good suggestion. The accommodations were excellent and the location was nearly in the middle of everything we wanted to do and see while in Florence. The quaint breakfast room afforded guests a nice selection of light breakfast items and a place to relax and enjoy a glass... More

The location is absolutely perfect. Less than 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio etc. A nice stroll to Piazzale Michaelangelo. Next door to a bar that shows the football; UK and European. Nice piazza with markets nearby. The hotel itself is a traditional building with attractive decoration. Room is well sized, generous size bathroom. All traditional. Facilities... More

Hotel Cavalcanti is very well placed in the centre of Florence, in a quiet location but within easy reach of the Duomo and other sites of cultural interest. There are also many restaurants within easy reach. This is more like a private apartment than a traditional hotel with excellent facilities including a delightful kitchen /diner where guests are able to... More

We stayed 4 days in Florence and our accommodation was lovely. The location was perfect right in the heart of the city. The owners were very hospitable. We would certainly recommend this to anyone staying in Florence.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
