I bought this trip for my boyfriend as his Christmas present, I booked through BA holidays. The lobby is nice, the staff helpful and more than happy to recommend places to go and restaurants to go to. They will also make reservations for you. We were in room 203, I do wish I'd asked for a room a the back... More

My wife bought us a weekend in Florence for my birthday. This hotel was recommended as a upgrade by the travel agent she used. A straightforward drive from Pisa airport, the last few meters to this hotel are complex to navigate by car as it resides on a long one-way street. Once we eventually found a way, we pulled up... We enjoyed our stay very much. The lift room made you feel like you were all by yourself with views in all directions. We would reccomend that room to anyone. The staff was very helpful. We could walk to all the attractions in 20 minutes or less. The staff reccomended a trattoria called Titos which was awesome!

We booked a city break in Florence through Wowcher vouchers which we did pay extra to get convenient flight times. The hotel was clean and about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful when we wanted to organise a hop on hop off tour of Florence also we had to ask them if they... More

Just returned from 3 nights stay here booked as a package through British Airways. 15 mins walk from the railway station and 15 mins walk from the attractions. Hotel is fairly basic but clean and efficient. Breakfast was a basic buffet. No other facilities of note but a good base for sightseeing. Slept very well.

Hotel Lorenzo Il Magnifico Florence, Italy Let me begin by stating that there was a lot of construction, hopefully remodeling, going on during our stay. That said, let me review briefly our stay. I understand and appreciate a true European hotel during our travels, and even more, aged classic ones. However, there are way too many that understand old world... More

15 mins walk from the historic centre, the LiM is really all you need in a Florence hotel. You're not here to skulk in your room after all, you're here to marvel at the sights, of which there are of course many. Annex rooms are a good size, quiet, with comfy beds. Rooms have high ceilings and are architecturally interesting.... More

The hotel was a good value (by European standards). If you are used to larger newer American hotels, many or most of the hotels in Europe will seem old, cramped and small. Don't sweat it !! It is part of the overall European experience. We stayed in an annex just out the back door of the main hotel. It was... More

Us and one other couple stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in December. On the positive side, the entrance is very nice and the hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. But the rest of the hotel isn't as nice. Our rooms were toward the back of the courtyard, and it looked like that hadn't given that building a good... More
