Location is the best offer from this hotel! Exit from the front of train station, cross the street then you will find mcdonalds. The hotel is on the same block. The check in was smooth and the staff was really nice. She gave us directions and map. Outside the room they provide us with free water and ice which really... More

This was our worst experience during our Europe tour by far. We had a late flight into Florence which we had emailed the staff about several times before we came in and the staff said that they would be there (you just ring a bell to let them know), but they were not when we arrived even though we arrived... Just checked out today. Spent two nights there. 95 euro a night. Right by train station where we had to meet a tour to the cinque terra. Really appreciated the short walk when we got back. Breakfast was well done. Walked to see the David and convenient to take the bus. Very nice balcony and close by lots of restaurants!!... More

We arrived in Florence after flying from Melbourne to Milan and a two hour train journey. We were tired, but this abated once we arrived at the hotel, and were greeted by the really friendly staff, especially Nadia Francesca. The hotel is on the third floor and serviced by a lift. Our room for a family of four was ready... More

Hotel at 3rd floor with a small lift. Nice staff, nice breakfast, nice room although the furniture a little dated. Very good location: just one block from the train/bus station, same row with mcdonalds & a convenient store.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic three night break in Florence, staying at Hotel Berna. The staff were so friendly and helpful. On check out they were happy to store our bags until we were ready to leave for the airport. The rooms were not modern but 'classic' in decor and maybe a little on the... More

The room was well appointed, clean with nice refreshments in the room. The hotel was located a block from the train station which was very convenient for us. It was a pleasant walk to most amenities and attractions. The buffet breakfast was delicious and catered for a broad range of tastes: European, American and Asian - they really try to... More

This family-owned and operated hotel made our trip to Italy so special. It put us in a good mood right off the bat. Friendly front desk staff and a nice cozy room on the first floor was truly appreciated after an 8 hour flight and one hour train ride. The bathroom had a heated towel rack and comfy towels. Also... From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the welcome was warm and friendly. The woman at reception seemed sincerely concerned with the comfort of her guests. I arrived early in the morning, she did her best to see if there was a room I can check in before hours; when there wasn't, she was very nice about storing my... More
