Just got back from a 2 night stay. Good points are definitely the staff. Very helpful and friendly. Rooms were large. décor a bit odd and tired but then its a 2 star budget hotel and for the price it was excellent value. Breakfast was standard tourist continental. Please get a better toaster! Its on the 4th floor and there... More

Stayed for three nights with family of five. Room was decent size (kids are young so able to share a bed). Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and bright property. Extremely close to rail station which was good for us, but very easily walkable into town. Only downside was very small Lucy in the building but didn't bother us. Would... More

I was very impressed with my stay at Hotel Berna and in particular with the great service Nadia offered (I was leaving very late at night and she allowed me to leave my bags and stayed until after 9pm when I collected them). The room was good with nice quirky décor although a few things were in need of fixing.... More

This is a very nice B&B close to everything!! The staff very helpful & friendly, room classically Italian. Breakfast very good in quaint room. The only issue we had was finding it! I think they need to make it clear that in this building there is a different hotel on each floor!! Hotel Berna is on 3rd floor. The lift... More

I stayed here for one night but impressed by the friendly stuff and stylish room. This place is quite close to the train terminal, but takes time to find. You can have in-room breakfast, the food is not bad.

Location is the best offer from this hotel! Exit from the front of train station, cross the street then you will find mcdonalds. The hotel is on the same block. The check in was smooth and the staff was really nice. She gave us directions and map. Outside the room they provide us with free water and ice which really... More

This was our worst experience during our Europe tour by far. We had a late flight into Florence which we had emailed the staff about several times before we came in and the staff said that they would be there (you just ring a bell to let them know), but they were not when we arrived even though we arrived... Just checked out today. Spent two nights there. 95 euro a night. Right by train station where we had to meet a tour to the cinque terra. Really appreciated the short walk when we got back. Breakfast was well done. Walked to see the David and convenient to take the bus. Very nice balcony and close by lots of restaurants!!... More

We arrived in Florence after flying from Melbourne to Milan and a two hour train journey. We were tired, but this abated once we arrived at the hotel, and were greeted by the really friendly staff, especially Nadia Francesca. The hotel is on the third floor and serviced by a lift. Our room for a family of four was ready... More
