My fiance and I stayed at Villa La Sosta for two nights in April and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Guiseppina and Antonio were very accomodating and showed us how to get around the city and where to eat. We liked walking into town and then taking the bus back at the end of the... more

Just got back from a week stay at Villa la Sosta. While it is outside of the city center, it is a welcome refuge after a long day of "touristing." We walked to the Duomo in not much more than 30 minutes one day, and that included a few stops in little shops. The walk back up the hill at... more

We loved this place. Found it on Trip Advisor and particularly liked the idea of free parking. All the reviews are spot on. The place is traditional and cosey, and the owners are very welcoming. They couldn't have done more to look after us. Its in a lovely quiet spot, just out of town. We chose to leave the car... more

My husband and I spent our time in Florence on our honeymoon at Villa La Sosta based on the Tripadvisor reviews. We had a fabulous time! Our room was cozy and romantic. The grounds were beautiful and the brother/sister owners could not have been more accommodating. They gave us a map with all their favorite restaurants and off the beaten... more

We stayed at Villa La Sosta during two seperate trips we took to Florence this year. The inn owner, Antonio, has always made us feel very welcome and the inn itself is amazing! Each room is unique, clean and filled with antique furniture. The villa also has a large common room on the top level which overlooks the surroundings and... more

We found Villa Sosta on this website and were not disappointed. We spent 5 nights with Giuseppina and her brother Antonio and had a wonderful time. They are helpful, fun and wonderfully Italian! We drove from Germany and were happy and relaxed to be able to leave our car at the villa, safe and secure. We took advantage of the... more

My wife and a friend and I are from Vancouver Canada. We have just completd a 5 week trip in Italy. The highlight was Villa La Sosta. It is beautiful, comfortable clean and warm. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Meeting other guests over a long breakfast is fun and informative. A short walk to downtown or catch the 25... more

This is a beautiful, quiet and safe place with a very comfortable bed and great shower. My husband and I stayed here for three nights and received a warm welcome and had a beautiful, spacious room with no bugs (other travelers we spoke to said this was an issue for them in Florence.) Antonio (who looks like a young Mel... more

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Villa La Sosta September 6, 7, and 8, 2007. The room, breakfast, garden and location were excellent, but the best part of our stay was the owner, Antonio, who helped us find future accommodations at an agritourismo in Tuscany and a rental car, even though almost all such services were already fully booked.... more
