We have stayed in budget hotels before and have realistic expectations and we found this hotel to be substandard. The entire building reeked of sewage and at times the smell was very strong in our room. When mentioned to the staff they simply denied smelling anything. The water was turned off (not just low water pressure but actually turned off) several times a day with no advance warning so you might be in the middle of your shower and off goes the water! Again, the staff was utterly unresponsive when this was mentioned. The bed was extraordinarily uncomfortable making it diffcult to sleep well. The ceiling light fixture in our bathroom fell off the ceiling (not caused in any way by me) narrowly missing hitting me. The light bulb dangled from wires in the ceiling for the next three days-no effort to repair it. When we checked out the staff tried to blame us for "damages" and an argument ensued.
