Nice staff. Free Unlimited WIFI internet. At least 5 computers available to use in the hostel. (1 computer @ each room too) Breakfast and "free pasta" (if offered) are cooked in their own cafeteria. A stone's throw from the train station and walking distance to the main sights including the Duomo. Large hostel with outdoor courtyard (terrace and small garden) and a lift if you don't want to carry your heavy bags up the stairs! The Ostello Archi Rossi is located really close to the main train station in Florence - and for the purpose of my trip that was ideal! Didn't see the dorm rooms, but I can say the private rooms were very comfortable. The cafeteria & charming common area at this particular hostel made it very welcoming and easy to meet other travelers as a solo traveller.
