My husband booked this incredible hotel as a surprise for my birthday and it was without a doubt one of the best places we've ever stayed. We had the most beautiful room with views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio - it was pure luxury! The building itself is beautiful, so romantic and on one of the best streets in... More

From checking in and the car valet, to the concierge providing exceptional restaurants and even going so far as to call and make dinner reservations for us, to the rooftop terrace, two bathrooms in the room we stayed, a short walk to some fantastic places, we wouldn't have asked for a better place to stay! On top of all of... More

Can't beat the Antica Torre - luxury at its finest. Incredible location, even better views and an incredible helpful, nice staff. Plus their breakfast was by far the best of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip. Can't recommend this place enough - splurge on it!!

The best thing about this awesome hotel is the 3 panoramic roof terraces! These combined with the 'honesty bar' made for an enjoyable and relaxing stay ;) The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were fairly basic, but were very clean and well maintained. The location of this hotel is ideally situated, we were able to see the... More

We decided to spoil ourselves for a few nights in Florence and we weren't disappointed. Spacious rooms with large ensuite and separate shower big enough for two, king size bed overlooking the river. Close to Ponte Vecchio and the Dumo. Staff were great and be sure not to miss the buffet breakfast that has something for every one. I would... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were amazed by both the view and the luxurious room. We are returning this fall. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, with its panoramic views of the entire city. It was a very magical experience.

The Antica Torre is in an excellent location- city center with beautiful views of the Arno River and the Duomo from the rooftop terrace. All staff members were friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was small and clean and comfortable with a pretty view. We began our evening with a glass of wine on the terrace and ended our night... More

The staff were very friendly and showed us to our room when we arrived. The room was a little larger than your average room in Europe, and the bathrooms were very nicely appointed. There is only one elevator, so if you like to walk, you may want to request a room on a lower floor so you can enter/exit more... More

Enchanting! We had a beautiful room in the tower, enjoyed our own wonderful views of the rooftops from our terrace, and excellent service from the staff. I look forward to staying here again the next time I am in Florence.

We had a room on the fourth floor in this amazing old building. The room was comfortable and cool and we had a glimpse of the Duomo from our balcony. Breakfast from the terrace on the fifth floor was delightful each morning and drinks from the sixth floor terrace was a wonderful way to finish a day of sight seeing... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
