We stayed in the Library Suite. Room was large with high ceilings. Our windows opened up to the street which was a bit noisy, but nothing that kept us awake at night or anything. This history of the "Old Tower" combined with the modern finishes and technology is so well done. The breakfast buffet is tasty, the honor-bar is genius...!... More

First, this hotel is an older, historic property, and as such the rooms are varied and somewhat minimally appointed. The wifi was sporadic, which I typically wouldn't complain about, except I had some limited business time. However, the location, views and staff were all excellent! The breakfast surpassed our expectations also. This hotel is within a 15 minute walk to... More

The Antica Torre was a very charming old world hotel in a great location in Florence. It was located on Via Tornabuoni which is a high end shopping street. Salvatore Ferragamo was right across the street and just a couple minutes walk away was Gucci and Prada. Of course, you go to Florence to see the fabulous sites and the... More

Hotel is centrally located to all sites. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is delicious and the hotel also has a roof top terrace bar with gorgeous views of the City. Staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. So glad we stayed here!

The location is perfect. Situated right next to the trinity bridge and a whole road of brandy shops which would be good for shopping. The hotel building itself is beautiful. The receptionist and other staff welcomed us in a very friendly way. The gentleman showed ur the room and the rooftop. The view from rooftop is amazing!

We stay in Florence often, and this is by far, our number one hotel choice. The rooms are all different. They are spacious and interestingly decorated. It is as if you are staying with an old Florentine family. The view from the terrace, across the city, is breath taking. The hotel is located directly across from the Ferragamo mother ship... More

I couldn't believe it when the taxi stopped and announced we had reached the hotel, when we had travelled down the Florence equivalent of "Bond Street" in London. An incredible location, right next to the river Arno and the Ponte Santa Trinita. The surprises continued, as we were greeted by the most charming lady, Mika, who kindly had upgraded us... More

Lovely hotel - we had a room with views over the river. Spacious room with bathroom and shower room - more like a suite! Antique style with a posh feel - all very lovely. Great terrace and views over the City and the river. Great location amidst the high end shops and easy walk to all the sights. Highly recommend... More

We were very happy with this hotel in Florence. The location is very good, being very close to the Ponte Vecchio but not in an area where tourists are swarming at all. This hotel is right next to the river Arno, and in an upscale area with lots of high end stores and shops. We found the location to be... More

We had a room with a view and a terrace, and what a view it was. The hotel is well run, the staff is very personable and efficient. The breakfast room has stunning views and of course the food was also very good and had great selections of both hot and cold, sweet and salty. The roof terrace has a... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
