To echo the sentiment of many other reviews I believe I can cast light on the disparity between the great and not so great reviews about this hotel. Firstly the position is bang on. It is in the nicest street in Florence close by to all the main attractions but a little away from the hustle of Ponta Vecchio There... More

We chose the Renaissance Suite because it had two bathrooms. Great for two women. The room was lovely with huge windows. But what was even better were the rooftop terraces. One overlooked the Arno, the other the old city and the Duomo. Even the breakfast room had a patio with beautiful views. Word of caution - pigeons seeing food can... More

Excellent service, huge room/suite on Arno, superior service! The rooftop garden areas are the best in the city. The location could not have been better. Would recommend rooftop buffet breakfast, late night rooftop. Room 301 is huge!

My husband and I stopped here for 2 nights before joining our children for a family holiday in other parts of Italy. What a great decision! The quaint intimate style of the hotel and the hospitality of the staff blew us away as did the brilliant location overlooking the Arno. The room I had was spotless and charming with windows... We have stayed here for 4 nights right in the heart of Florence. An easy walk to the ponte vecchio, duomo and about 10 minutes walk to the train and bus station. The hotel roof terrace has fantastic views over Florence and a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of chianti at the end of a long day. The room... More

This is a gem of a hotel and the location is brilliant. We stayed in the suite overlooking the river and it was divine. Far better than the website photos. Amazing service and friendly staff. Their housekeeping was honest enough and alert enough to locate an item left behind and they emailed me in 24 hrs. I loved this hotel... More

A small hotel in the heart of Florence a few steps from the Arno. You are literally in the middle of everything - shopping, museums, the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo. The hotel is very intimate, but works well for couples and families. There is a rooftop terrace where breakfast is served (great buffet) accompanied by views of the Arno and... More

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and gracious service from the staff. We were accompanied to our rooms by the desk attendant who actually shut down the desk for a few minutes. We had two rooms for the five of us - the Panoramic Suite for my husband and I as well as the Renaissance... More

We stayed in this fab hotel before a friends wedding and not having traveled to Florence before were not disappointed. The location of the hotel right by the river is great for exploring and finding again after a wander through the wonderful Florence streets. Room was large clean and had a amazing view out over the city. Staff were very... More

This hotel certainly lives up to its tripadvisor rating! Just a stunning hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were second-to-none and so helpful both beforehand and during our stay - recommending and booking restaurants that always good, sorting out drivers & taxis etc. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a great start to the day in this amazing city.
