This is such a unique property right on Tornabuoni at the river in the historic center of Florence. It is a beautifully renovated 13th century tower with a rooftop where you will dine for breakfast and enjoy a cocktail at night. The rooftop offers what is by far one of the best views in Florence where you can see the... More

This Hotel was very, very nice, we had a lovely suite which had a romantic balcony overlooking the river Arno. The service was excellent, they were very friendly and helped out with everything making us feel very welcome. There was no hot food restaurant in the hotel but the dining area in the roof top terrace offered an amazing view... More

Excellent property, staff and location with a fair price! Most things already shared need no repeat but I should add that the towels and bedding were also very high quality. My initial io concerns about our room over via Tourabonne were for naught and it was quiet and dark as needed. Suggestions would include creating a sheet of restaurants to... More

This was one of our favorite properties during our 2 week stay in Italy. The building is rich in history and they have done a great job of maintaining the charm while keeping it clean, updated. Because it is an old hotel the elevator is very slow but that did not impact the lovely stay for us. The room was... More

What can you say? Absolutely perfect for so many reasons. All communication prior to our stay was handled professionally and very promptly with regards to restaurant bookings etc and we found the staff very helpful on our arrival. We were staying in their most basic rooms which was very comfortable with views towards Santa Maria Novella. Breakfast was lovely and... More

Our "romantic" room was wonderful, large, great view of the Arno, and short walk to many sites. Breakfast, the bar and the terrace were also wonderful... Not to mention the staff that had wonderful recommendations for dining, shopping and any request.

I cannot understand why this hotel is not at the top of the list. It has everything you could want. The location is perfect for (window) shopping in the designer stores , sightseeing and relaxing on the terrace. As others have said sipping a glass of wine while watching the sun set on the Arno is magical. You can even... More

We spent four nights mid July and absolutely agree with all the positive reviews that have been posted. Location is fantastic and close to all that you'll want for in Florence and only a 10 minute taxi ride from the station, about €10 depending on traffic. Our room was modern and spacious and also had a view of the Duomo,... More

Despite the really nice location and kind staff, this hotel was a dissappointment. The room was too small; the toilet did not flush properly; the rugs on the stairs headed to the terrace and breakfast room were old and dirty. On the positive side, the rooftop terrace overlooking Florence was heavenly and the breakfast spread offerred a lot although the... More

Dear Vicki, Thank you for taking the time to let us know how much you enjoyed our rooftop terrace and breakfastt buffet. We are also grateful to you for letting us know you found your room somewhat small and you were not pleased with the quality of our coffee. We use one of the highest quality roasts in Florence and... Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
