This hotel was such a highlight to our Europe trip. The staff was very welcoming and the hotel was breathtaking. The hotel provided free movies and a rooftop that takes your breath away (again). I thought it was so amazing that they had an "honest" policy after hours at the bar. They left it open at night and trusted that... More

We just got back from a 12 day trip to Chamonix, France, Florence and Rome. We had the fortunate opportunity to stay in the Panoramic Suite at the Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni! The location was perfect! The accommodations were outstanding! There are two roof top areas to enjoy and the breakfast has to be one of the best in... More

This is prob one of my favorite hotels around the world. The cab driver gave us a thumbs up when he heard where we are going and he was right! The paranomic view of Firenze from the terrace is breathtaking. Rooms are small but sufficiently equipped (understandable given the hotel was originally a historic site). Location was superb. Service was... More

Nice old hotel in a fashionable quiet street. Difficult to tell is was an hotel from the outside. Our room (55) overlooked the river and the red rooftops. Great roof terraces with fabulous views. Room was large with a huge bed and it was lovely and clean. Plenty of choices for breakfast, hot and cold. Went in February so we're... More

We stayed at this delightful hotel for 4 nights in February and were totally pleased by the experience. The hotel is in a great location - we walked everywhere and there are many excellent restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Our room was Bright and spacious (with a wall of books and high ceilings) and clean. The bed was very... More

My wife and I travelled to Florence as part of our travels in Italy and independently chose the Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni as our hotel. We received a warm welcome upon our arrival and were very pleased with our large room (501) and were even more pleased with the view of the Duomo from the room. The rooftop terrace... More

We have just returned from a two night stay at this beautiful hotel. It is in a fantastic location, close to all the major sites but tucked away so not too noisy. Our room was large and beautifully clean and the bed was huge. We were greeted on arrival by the receptionist who insisted on taking us to the roof... More

The staff were friendly and helpful- booked us tickets for the Uffizi in advance so we escaped the queues. The hotel is a lovely listed building with several roof terraces that have stunning views of the river; and it is located in one of the main poshest shopping streets of Florence. We did a lot of window shopping! The room... More

Dear kirsten m, Thank you for your kind feedback regarding our property and for taking the time to share your experience with others. We are very glad you enjoyed the breakfast. The chef is always knackered after the breakfast service but she is also a glutton for punishment: Please if you wish to take lunch or dine on the rooftop... More

We recently spent six nights at the Antica Torre. Everything worked out beautifully, On arrival we found our ticket reservation for the Uffizi, and in our room a very nice bunch of flowers, which I had asked the hotel to provide for my wife`s birthday. We had a beautiful deluxe room on the fifth floor of the building next to... More
