My wife and I have been to Florence 5 times in the last 12 years, but this is the first time we stayed at Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni N. 1. That was our loss. We were privileged to stay at the Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni N. 1 for four days this year. We will never stay anywhere else... More

A very nice hotel, in old grandeur style, perfectly located in the center. Good rooms, excellent beds, friendly staff and spectacular terraces on the roof! Ideal for your pre dinner drink or just a coffee, you overlook the river as well all of the city. Breakfast is also very good. We just have one remark. We had our car parked... More

Just a one night stay when we arrived in Florence but wish it could, have been longer as we felt rested, tended to and in a good location. Reception was quick and easy and we were shown to our room and the luggage was brought up shortly after. Comfortable room and bath. Note:our adapters for 2 prong Euro, was only compatible... More

We chose this hotel based on the reviews in Tripadvisor - and we weren't disappointed. It really is that good! Location is perfect - from the front door of the hotel it took us only 10 minutes to walk to the Duomo, 5 minutes to Repubblica and 10 minutes to the Piazza della Signorina. Of course, there may be other... More

Our stay here was one of the highlights of our extensive trip to Italy. The list is long of all the things they do right. It starts with the location which is perfect for exploring central Florence, is right on the river, right on a bridge and has magnificent views in all directions. The staff was welcoming & helpful in... More

After a wonderful stay during a trip 2 years ago, I was prepared for some slippage in service or experience. I need not have been apprehensive at all. If anything, the service and facilities were even more impressive during our most recent stay. This visit we had a small suite in the tower on the Arno side of the hotel.... More

Great hotel, great location. Glass of chianti on the rooftop terrace as the sun goes down was a fabulous experience. Room was great. Reception was great in recommending hotel reservations. The location was central to everything.

We stayed for one night, September 23rd. Although we were kind of underwhelmed by Florence, I loved this hotel. We stayed in a very recently renovated room. Everything about the room was elegant. The rooftop terraces are to die for. We had cocktails up on the terrace in the evening, and it was gorgeous. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.... More

Great location. Stayed in the romantic room - had a nice view of the Arno River and by leaning out a tad the Ponte Vecchio. Could use more clothes storage space but otherwise good. The luck of the draw had a guest above us that we could hear walking late at night and early in the morning. Breakfast was good.... More

My wife and I stayed at the hotel to celebrate our 50th anniversary; could not have made a better choice. Stayed in the Panoramic Suite. It had lots of room, great bathroom, an extremely comfortable bed, and a great view of the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio. All members of the staff were attentive and very helpful. The terraces...
