We recently spent six nights at the Antica Torre. Everything worked out beautifully, On arrival we found our ticket reservation for the Uffizi, and in our room a very nice bunch of flowers, which I had asked the hotel to provide for my wife`s birthday. We had a beautiful deluxe room on the fifth floor of the building next to... More

Superb boutique style hotel. The location couldn't be any better, right in the old part of Florence within walking distance of everything you want to see. All the high end name brand shops (Tiffany, Prada, etc). are in the street alongside the hotel. Apart from the lack of 24 hour reception and in-house restaurant this is easily a 5 star... More

We loved our stay here and will return any time we are in Florence. The view from the roof is the best in town, the breakfast is amazing and the view of the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio from the room is breathtaking. The location is also perfect! Can't wait to go back!!

Great location by the river Arno and walking distance of major sights. Friendly and helpful staff, arranged an impromptu lunch with kitchen stafff on arrival. Beautiful rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city, great for pre-dinner drinks or relaxing after walking around the city. Perfect hotel for a 2 night stay.

We stayed at the wonderful Antica Torre in February 2015 on our first trip to Florence. It is located within easy walking distance of the major sights and the rail station. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff - they found us an excellent place to eat on our first evening. The hotel itself is wonderful - we... More

I found this hotel through trip advisor. It had very good reviews and the price was very good. We traveled from Milan to florence by train. the ride was less than 5 minutes from the station to the hotel. As soon as we started approaching the hotel, we saw many of the famous brand name stores. Right in front of... More

At first my fiance and I were not impressed with concierge prior to arrival, as they were not particularly quick to respond to emails and recommended a shuttle service from the train station that would have cost us 4 times the amount of a cab. However, once we arrived the service was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. This... More

We only had one night in Florence so wanted to stay in a great hotel to maximise our experience of Florence. This places ticks all the boxes. It's a former palace, has a "room with a view" and a stunning roof top terrace and is in a great location. We travelled with our 5 year old and benefitted from a... More

My husband, two friends, and I had the pleasure of spending five days in Florence at this wonderful hotel in June of 2014. This segment was part of a larger two-week vacation in Italy, and each of us agreed that this hotel was the highlight of the trip. The staff was helpful, friendly, and upbeat. The rooms are spacious and... More

We stayed in Venice, Bologna and Rome and this was by far our favorite hotel. Here are the reasons why: #1-Unbelievable views. From roof, room and breakfast table #2-Speaking of breakfast! The spread was unbelievable as well as the great service #3-Location, location, location. It's a good thing my husband was with me or I would have done a lot... More
