Like most of the reviews I just want to agree with all said. In fact I checked Trip Advisor before choosing this hotel and my only concern was that it wasnt near the Historic Center of Florence. We planned to stay 2 nights at Rosary Garden, but extended our stay to 4 nights. The Hotel is out of the centre of Florence, but we found that a bonus, only a bus ride away, out of the hurly burly. Hotel Rosary Garden certainly met our expecations. It was a little bit out of the way...10 minute cab ride (12 euros) from the train station and 15-20 minute bus ride from the historical center of Florence. However, convenient enough. Very lovely hotel, with stunning rooms. Breakfast room is one of the smallest I have ever seen, but one of the cosiest! Fresh breakfast, Fantasic coffee, excellent service. Only thing is its a bit of a stroll from town, and in the month of Aug when temp was 38 degrees, it was not the most pleasant times for long walks.... more
this hotel is a must for people on a tight budget who don't mind walking. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. They booked everything we needed and added such a personal touch. My wife and I visited during the height of tourist season. Rosary Garden was a nice respite from the masses -- roughly a 15 minute bus ride to a neighborhood across the river from the central city. What a wonderful small hotel in the Florence suburbs; away from the bustling tourists in the historic center. The hotel is close to buses and many good restaurants. We were able to purchase wine and cheese nearby and simply unwind. The rooms were comfortable with all the amenities. more
