My wife and I stayed at the Rosary Garden from July 23-28. I had booked it based on reviews here on Tripadvisor and our stay there certainly lived up to what I had been reading here and from other research I had done. We had stayed twice previously in Florence choosing both times to stay in the historical center. This... More

A really warm welcome. (Passports are checked by most hotels in Italy). Lots of helpful information re getting around. Beautifully decorated. Lovely breakfast. Very nice staff. Good location within a suburb, but close to the City. In all a great place to come home after a long day of sightseeing. Always the facilities to have a cup of tea and... More

Rooms vary. Breakfast is good, free bike rentals and nice staff. Each room is unique and varies in style. Monica was very helpful. Hotel is too hot can be uncomfortable at breakfast. Beware of cabs recommended by hotel. They say it's 20 euros to airport then cab driver says since its out of city center 30 euros. Not hotels fault... More

We stayed at Hotel Rosary Garden for three nights. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced and quite beautiful decor. However, some details about this place would make it difficult to recommend. First of all upon arrival the owner made a point about "checking our passports with the police", making us feel like criminals. Then, she made sure we knew... More

We booked this hotel due to its very reasonable price, nice reviews and a solid website with loads of nice pictures of the property. It delivers exactly what it promises. Firstly, the location. It is outside Central Florence and Lonely Planet guidebook won't even describe it as one of the neighborhoods worth visiting. That's because it's a local neighborhood, and... More

After spending literally hours and hours searching for a clean and safe hotel in Florence, we finally settled on this one. We are so grateful we found this little gem! Very charming hotel, with sweet decor. The hotel is very quaint with a cozy tea room with complimentary tea and snacks (croissants and an assortment of biscuits, all delicious). Breakfast... More

Very helpful and friendly hotel owner. Lots of nice touches throughout the hotel. There is great restaurant next door which I highly recommend. Buses are available to the main tourist area or you can walk along the River Arno. The room was comfortable and clean.

This hotel is tucked away in the outskirts of Florence. A perfect location if you want to return to some peace and quiet after having been inundated in the craziness of touristorama in Florence! The hotel has a (paid) parking lot where you can leave your car. Old Florence is just a short bus drive away. Why put yourself through... More

This hotel is a great find. It is outside of the city centre but is only a short bus ride away from the main attractions in the heart of Firenze. My boyfriend and I loved the calmer atmosphere of being outside the centre and enjoyed spending our afternoons walking the streets and witnessing everyday, real Italian life. We found some... More

The room was small but clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. The hotel is a 10 to 15 minute bus ride from downtown. A taxi will cost you from the train station from 12 to 15 Euro. Going back by taxi costs more. It was interesting to see an area of Florence around the hotel... More
