I have stayed at this property three times since 2004 and it just keeps getting better. The amenities are quite impressive, from in-room computers to the fulsome breakfast. The rooms are scrupulously clean and quite comfortable, and the desk staff exceedingly helpful with reservations and recommendations. The location is ideal, in an area behind the Duomo, so very central for accessing all the main sites. My only suggestion is to make a fan available for... More

Great B&B in the heart of Florence . Room is big but a little noisy (this B&B has 5 room of which 2 face the street where buses are running. Windows have 2 double glazing which isolate completely the noise ) Otherwise this B&b is perfect. Rooms are very nice and respect the character of Florence. The owner is just perfect and looks up and takes care about every little thing. Though it is a... More

This was the best place to come home after our wanderings around Florence. It was quiet, spacious and lovely. The location was excellent. The free wi-fi was an added bonus. All their recommendations and advice were good. Their hospitality was wonderful. Although we did not use it, they have a hot tub and a swimming pool. I imagine that in the Summer the pool would be a great plus. More

This is our second time to stay at THG and prayerfully it won't be our last. Claudio,Lorenzo, Crystal, and Sara are the most wonderful hosts that you could ever hope to find. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet and sparkling clean. The breakfast is fantastic: 3 types of cereal, 2 types of juice, milk, meats, cheese, rolls, croissants, danish, eggs to boil, american coffee, Italian coffee, cappucino and tea, fresh and cooked fruit and there is usually... Good location, local restaurant Zio Gigi was good, entertaining, and reasonable. The Tourist House is a good choice for a place to stay. More

This was our first time using a B&B. The location was PERFECT! Just around the corner from the Duomo. Very clean, nice breakfast which consisted of some meats, cheese, pastries, eggs to hard boil, yogurt and breads. After a long day of walking it was nice to come back and be able to choose from DVD's to watch. The only channel we found through our travels to Rome, Florence & Venice was CNN. We were... More

Just one turn away, and you will reach the Duomo. From the Duomo (central of the city) you can reach anywhere easily. Just imagine how near it is. This B&B was the most un-B&B-like I've been to - The staffs are so professional. The infrastructure setup is complete and immaculate. From free wifi (with pc) to dvd movies, sauna, breakfast room, just name it. Stay here and experience yourself. Tip: There is a DIY laundry... More

I stayed in 10 B&B's/hotels on my trip to Italy and Tourist House Ghiberti was definitely the best. The bedroom and bathroom are large, clean and inviting. I was skeptical about being in a room next to reception (I'd had several bad experiences with rooms near reception) but had nothing to worry about as it was very quite. I was also concerned that being opposite the hospital the sirens would be an issue during the... More

This is a professionally run B&B with huge rooms that are quiet, clean and really inviting. What a pleasure to return to the Tourist House Ghiberti after a day out and about. The staff are always helpful and courteous. They helped us find a guide for the Uffizzi. Birgit Enslin is knowledgeable, charming, witty and made our visit to the huge museum truly memorable. Outstanding guide and hope to use her again. Breakfast is served... More

This is hands down the best B&B I have ever been to. The hospitality and warmth made our trip memorable. Lorenzo is an excellant host The location is unbeatable, 2 min from the duomo and walking distance everywhere. But its not the location, but the small touches that make this B&B stand out. Free Wifi, DVD player in room with a wide selection of DVDs to choose from, good choice of books, an outdoor terrace... More
