We stayed here for several nights. As others have noted, its location is right in the thick of things and convenient to just about everything you want to see or do in Florence. It's also very quiet. I don't think we heard any street noise the whole time we were there. The rooms are comfortable (as are the beds!) and... more

My wife and I spent two nights at the Tourist House Ghiberti in Florence and could not have been happier. First things first -- the room was very large, immaculately kept, and completely comfortable. The bathroom was also very large, bordering on luxurious. It was very convenient to have a computer in the room. We didn't have time to take... more

Claudio's extraordinary B&B has to be the best place to stay in Florence. Aside from a perfect location only his graciousness is exceeded by a fantastic B&B. In fact, it is more like a exclusive boutique hotel rather than a "tourist house". The B&B is filled with original art, all the technology you could want, ga-ga beautiful and spotless bathroom,... more

Just returned from a trip to Italy. We spent 5 nights at the Tourist House Ghiberti. This is one of the best places we stayed in during our many trips to Italy. Location is great, right by the Duomo, yet quiet (no tourist traffic), easy access to the landmarks by foot. Rooms are pristine - clean, comfortable, with modern decor,... more

This hotel is a must for anyone wanting a base in Florence. We stayed there 5 nights to travel to Tuscany, Cinque Terra, and just to stay in the city. The morning breakfast is excellent out on the terrace. It is a 3 star hotel, but the service makes it much better. Excellent internet (you have a computer in your... more

We stayed at the Tourist House Ghiberti for 4 nights. It was a great place from which to explore Florence. It is within walking distance of the train station and is right near the Duomo and all the historic site you will want to see in Florence. The room and bath are very large and well appointed. It feels very... more

This was our first trip to Europe and Guest House Ghiberti was a real treat! Excellent location, spacious room with wonderful amenities (especially the computer in your room), great breakfast buffet every morning with terrific cappucinos. Claudio was extremely helpful explaining all of the many features of our room. It's obvious Claudio put a lot of thought into the design... more

We recently stayed at the Tourist House Ghiberti after reading the reviews of it on Tripadvisor. It was a terrific location for walking all over Florence, and the hosts were helpful and knew the area well. The room was huge and very comfortable. The computer in each room made it very easy to search travel info and stay in touch... more
