Firstly the location is great - handy to the Duomo, shopping streets - everything you might want to see is within easy walking distance. Secondly, for a 3 star hotel, the rooms are quite adequate, double glazing keeps the outside noise to a bare minimum, and the bathroom, although smallish, has everything you would expect in a 4 star hotel... We chose this hotel because of its location and the Trip Advisor reviews. We were very happy with our choice. Florence is a very busy city. As the elevator leaves the noise of the city below we were welcomed by Laura. She immediately put at ease with her smile and warmth. She had good recommendations and advice for which we... More

The hotel is centrally located just two buildings away from the Duomo which is the heart of city. Also the hotel is walking distance from other tourist attractions like San Lorenzo Church, Uffizi and Academia Gallery which is very convenient. Rooms are comfortable with adequate space .Bathroom is clean with 24 hr hot water supply and clean towels etc. The... More

The hotel is an excellent hotel for travelers and families trying to stay within a budget. I stayed here almost 20 years ago, then stayed again this month when I brought the family. Great location, safe, clean, and the rooms are nice. The staff are just wonderful and very helpful. It is close enough to the train to walk and... More

No frills here but everything we look for in a hotel ticked the boxes. Central city location, helpful, engaging, English speaking staff, excellent breakfast, good bed, clean rooms with good bathrooms, easy access to good food and a wealth of knowledge about the city enthusiastically shared. Special thanks to Louise.

Our stay at Il Perseo was average. The hotel met our requirements, but little more. As others say, the location is excellent for tourism: 5 minute walk from the train station, only yards from the Duomo with the Central Market only a few blocks away. Not having stayed in other Florentine hotels for comparison, I can only stack it against... More

We stayed in Hotel Perseo for 4 nights while we toured Florence and Tuscany. We found it very easily from the train station. The staff was extra helpful. We had a full breakfast before we left each day. They would offer drinks at night. The wi fi was fast. We were SO close to everything. Less than a block away was... More

In June 2015, I stayed at the Hoel Perseo, 50123 Firenze, Vi dei Cerretani and it was a wonderful stay in a great city loaded with Renaissance artwork. The hotel is close to the train station, an easy walk even with a rolling suitcase and backpack. It's housed in an old building giving it an ambience of charm. Don't left... More

I stayed with a friend in a double room for seven nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The best thing about it is the location. Right next to the Duomo, it is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops of all kinds, and has a supermarket very close-by. It is about a ten-minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella (the main...
