My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, rooms were rather small but overall very good. We had maids in every day to change the bed and give us clean towels. The shower is not all that great and not ever bedroom has an en suit so be careful when booking there are some bedrooms with seperate... more

I emailed prior to arriving at the hotel asking them if checking in late would be okay (taking the evening train from Rome). They didn't have an issue. They also booked tickets to the Academia (Michaelangelo's David) and to the Uffizi for me. Keep in mind that you don't need to make reservations (and pay extra) during slow season. The... more

This was hotel was a bargain, so I was not expecting much. The lobby smelled like cigarettes ( I expected this, after all I was in Europe ). The oversized keychain attached to the room key was GIGANTIC...it felt like it was 6 lbs ( abt 3 kg)...If you lose this key, I don't know what to tell you. When... more

Room was clean - bathroom was huge by European standards. Street was very noisy at night and since there was no air conditioning, sleeping with the windows open was a bit of a challenge. Also seemed a bit smoky and a few mosquitos got in the room. Breakfast was ok - cereal, breads with spreads and coffee. However, the location... more

hotel was like most city hotels small and noisy! the lifts were the scariest part of staying here- i didnt realise the lift inside of the hotel was the only way to the rooms and the lift was the tiniest one i have ever been in. the room was small with a basin, wardrobe, safe, desk, chair and t.v we... more

When we arrived at the hotel it took us about 3 attempts of ringing the bell to get buzzed in. TINY lift! The man at reception didn't give us any information (breakfast times etc). The corridor and the room stank of cigarette smoke. The room itself was at least clean. However, in Feb it was COLD!! The street below is... more

I stayed here for 4 nights with my mother (76) and son (20) in a triple room looking over a narrow and relatively quiet street that leads directly to the San Lorenzo church/market. The room was very basic, but comfortable. Breakfast was also basic and adequate. We are the type of travelers who only use a hotel for the bed... more

This is a nice 2star hotel with average facilities. However, the people are quite helpful and friendly, so that you really enjoy your stay with them. The breakfast was included in our package and was quite OK and you may call it reach for a 2star hotel's breakfast. The location of the hotel is quite good as it is just... more

We stayed for 2 nights at this small hotel. It is like Fort Knox to get into with a very small lift to get to reception which is on the 1st floor. Location was ideal for train travel and sights. If you walked down the street you could walk in a straight line through San lorenzo market, the Duomo, Piazza... more

Good average quality hotel in great location, within easy walking to the highlights of Florence. Tiny breakfast room with poor menu choices - no travel hints here, sorry. Don't use the lifts if you're at all claustophobic as they are tiny also. The hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. Had no problems leaving our luggage after checkout. more
