The staff here are so kind and the rooms were kept clean. They made our stay an easy and comfortable one. Wifi is accessible mainly in the library area only, although it would have been nice to have it in our rooms. Breakfast is simple but filling, although if you're a tea drinker, don't expect amazing options. You are in... More

It is a clean hotel with supportive staff ,very well located at walking distance to the Duomo ! For us the hotel was very good. We came by train and from the Firenze SMN it took only 15 minutes walking to rich the hotel. We were lucky and our room on 2nd floor had wi-fi. The hotel is providing wi-fi... More

The hotel is situated in the old building and rooms are not big and they are dark. But if you are the kind traveller like us who comes back to hotel only to sleep then this hotel is suitable for you. The breakfast was ok and was served in a nice small canteen. The staff was perfect. They are very helpful... More

Despite the warm welcome this place is seriously dodgy. All the small negatives we gleaned from other reviews came together to give us our only bad hotel experience in 2 months of travel. I am not going to say anything good about this place because I do not want others to disregard the significant negatives about this property. Dark airless... More

We stayed for two nights in two rooms (three generations). The people went out of their way to accommodate any request. The rooms were very nice but the air conditioning needs to be upgraded esp. during summer months. Breakfast was very nice as was the little courtyard. It is located near the places you want to go and we would... More

The air conditioner was noisy and totally ineffective! We opened the window and got eaten alive by mosquitos. The manager was extremely nice but there was no way we were staying a second night. Oh and he forgot to mention some kind of mosquito repellent packet that we were supposed to be able to use in the room. And don't... More

Dear drew_doc1 I'm really sorry for your unconfortable night. We are continuing to improve our new managing with better services. But I need to explain some points: - the air conditioned generally is the most critical point during the warmest days, also because it's subjective in some limits. But anyway we apologize if the temperature was not cold enought for... More

Our family stayed at the Hotel Bonifacio for 3 nights in June. The beds were not that comfortable and perhaps the mattresses need to be changed. The room itself was quiet and offered nice amenities such as a refrigerator and in-room safe. Bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast was simple and basic (bread, cheese, yogurt, coffee, and juice). Staff was... More

The hotel is central. My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. We walked from the train station to the hotel once we found it the first time it was always easy to come and go. Free breakfast is nice, variety good, was late for breakfast one morning but was accomodated very nicely. Karin at the front desk was very... More

The room at this hotel was quite spacious, but the air conditioning did not work at all. Coming on to summer and 33 degrees, the room was like a sauna. Upon opening the window, we were infested with Mosquitos. I asked to be moved to another room where the air conditioning was working, as this is what we had paid... More

The location is very close to the city centre, about a ten minute walk through lovely streets and past the Accademia. The reception was very helpful and gave a map and advice about what to see and the best ways to get there. There are many restaurants, pharmacies and mini-supermarkets within a block or two of the hotel. There is... More
