Strozzi is a small hotel, with excellent service. We were thrilled to finally have a bed that was not hard as a rock, with wonderful down pillows - bliss!! The staff, in particular Elisabetta, were helpful and always cheerful. Location was superb, within 200 metres of the duomo, and rooms were quiet. We would recommend this to our friends. more

Wonderful location - fair size room when payment of upgrade was made - before that a rabbit hutch was bigger - long way from front door to reception three flights of stairs - lift not always available - it was also used by staff for laundry . I suspect it's only in Italy that a hotel like the Strozzi Palace could get a 4-star rating. The entrance, which is on the first floor, looks unkempt and tatty. Spacious clean rooms (no bed bugs). Great marble bathroom with a bidet and a shower door (very important). Fantastic location just a block from the center of town. The breakfast was limited but decent. Staff were helpful and attentive. more
