We stayed at Toc Toc Guesthouse in February and had an absolutely fantastic time. Accessing the apartment was very convenient - Nicole sent us codes that open both doors - so we could go in and out whenever we pleased. The apartment itself is bright, spacious, full of quaint artistic touches. The place was clean and super well-maintained. And best... More

Nicole is a clever, businesslike owner who has taken a great location and made something more of it for a large family to share. Trouble is, some things about the apt need attention. Accoutrements, and sense of security need refinement. Little things: no bar soaps, no laundry detergent, master bed with funky foundation hard to enter for adults, controls for... More

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed in the two rooms of Toc Toc guesthouse last April, and we found it to be an excellent base for our explorations in this gorgeous city! The location is excellent, near restaurants, a bus stop ( not that you really need this ), and excellent shops. It was wonderful to be... More

We were very pleased with this guesthouse, which is really more of an apartment. It's central and the decor is fantastic - both modern and retro tastes combined. Great value for money too! We would definitely recommend it!

This place is great! We rented out the entire apartment for 4 people, and Nicole (the owner and designer) was very nice! It was great knowing that the place had furniture and items designed by Nicole herself. Nicole was also very helpful many times before our stay, giving us advise on places to eat. Thank you so much for the... More

This is a awesome, clean, modern apartment in the center of Florence. Definitely worth the money and is a great alternative to a hotel. Nicole is super helpful and could not be nicer -- I highly recommend this spot.

I booked Toc toc when they just opened, everything was as what they advertised. the most modern facilities complimented by creative designs. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful. Despite being in the center of Florence the apartment was quiet and cozy. There was a market and a grocery not to far from me and a cafe' and... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
