We had no experience of Florence but were quickly dazzled by the location of the apartments next to the signature sight of Florence. Yes, really we looked out on the Pont Vecchio from floor to ceiling windows and it was just about fifty metres away. After some confusion about there being no means of heating the water to make tea... More

Recently stayed for 4 nights, my husband and I and 2 teenage boys. We had a suite with a river view and balcony which was so fantastic we found it hard to leave. Great to have a small kitchen to cook some pasta at the end of the day looking over the river and Ponte Vecchio. The service in the... More

Wow the bed was hard! And we like hard mattresses! Otherwise loved this property with beautiful room/apartments. Would prefer higher floor as we did hear street noise on first level but since our stay was only 2 nights, we didn't ask to move. Bathrooms were quite lovely and decor within unit was beautiful. Stay there only if you need a bed. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and thats all. The staff is terrible - from housekeepers to concierge. Housekeeper don't fill and replace bath products (paper towel, soap, ...). I sent an email 45 days before heading to Firenze asking for some advice, they just answer me back 1 month latter,... More

You just couldn't find a better location in Florence than the Lungarno Suites which sits directly at the base of the Ponte Vecchio Bridge on the side of the river where the Uffizi Museum is located. The rooms are spacious with a sitting area and small kitchen. A perfect place for stopping in throughout the day between museums. The decor... More

Lungarno was such an amazing experience, especially that it was our first time in Italy! We loved the room they gave us. They actually upgraded us to the room with the view of the Ponte Vecchio. The first room we had was gorgeous with the the yellow sweeping drapes/curtain, however there seemed to be a foul like sewage smell coming... More

This is our 5th trip to Florence this time with our 2 year old so we wanted more than just a hotel room. The lungarno suites (we booked a 1 bedroom) gave us a separate living room with sofa, flat screen tv (usual rubbish selection in English the same as every hotel in Europe), dining table with 4 chairs, small... I stayed at the Lungarno Suites for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience. The price was reasonable, the room was spacious and clean, the location was central, and the staff were very friendly. The bathroom amenities were all from Ferragamo. I'll definitely go back to this hotel!!! More

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lungarno suites. The rooms are done up to a very high spec, with Ferragamo furnishings. The in-room espresso maker is a particularly nice feature. Good use of space in the rooms and a with a sofa bed, was the perfect option for the three of us. Could have done with some extra... More

The Suites were recommended by a friend from work. Compared to many other hotels in Italy, this is definitely one of the best value for the price (discounted it for a stay of more than 3 nights). The room was spacious with a separate room for our son with large fold out couch, small dining area and kitchen and well... More
