Whether you will want to stay at the Casa di Morfeo or not depends greatly on your expectations. While it's sometimes referred to as a "hotel", the Casa di Morfeo is really a guesthouse. So forget about room service or even 24/7 reception. There is someone from 7:30 to 21:00 which probably will be fine for most people, but again... More

Location is great. Quiet street away from the guided tours routes but still relatively central: less than 5 min to S.Croce, 10 min to the center and less than that to reach the river. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and small drink shops nearby. Rooms are big and comfortable, and the service was great (even the cleaning ladies made... More

First of all this is not considered as a hotel, it should be at best a bed and breakfast.. The people running it are absolutely great but they are a total of 2!!!!its not what you think when you get there its in a building with 5 or 7 rooms, and yes the rooms are great very trendy but no... More

My husband and I spent two nights in Florence in July at this wonderful boutique hotel. We could not have asked for a more central location. Most tourist sites are within walking distance such as the Duomo. The staff was very welcoming and gracious. They provided us with a map of the city and gave us some great recommendations where... This B&B was such a great find we were so happy with our choice. We had a huge room!!! It had a queen size and two twin beds and a big living area. The staff was great and friendly, the hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was in a great location on a very cute street... More

Great small boutique hotel with about 9(?) beautiful rooms. Very clean! Continental breakfast with a nice variety of options (including eggs made your way). The best part of this place is the very welcoming(!) and accommodating staff -- the staff person who checked me in even shared her personal ice cream with me as she noticed that I was hot... More

Spent part of our honeymoon here in Florence. Was the biggest of 10 hotels we stayed at. Very large rooms with high ceiling. Modern touches. Large bathroom. Would have liked a more modern blow dryer in the room but I know that's being picky. We stayed in the Melissa room. Only one with a balcony. Was within walking distance of... More

we were travelling with 2 small children, 5 and 3. Found the hotel spotless, comfortable, spacious and very safe- child friendly as no stairs or open doors. Staff were so friendly, accomodating and helpful, gave great resturant recommendations and sight sseeing advice, provided map and marked out must see locations. Hotel in great location, literally minutes from all key places.... More

A nice welcome to Florence with an attentive staff! Each room had a romantic and relaxed decor. We had the Vaniglia, black and white with touches of color in the flowers. Breakfast okay and location great if staying longer than a night or two because it is not close to train station. Great for sightseeing.

We arrived during the afternoon on a piping hot day and was so happy when we got to the hotel. The reception staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, making us coffees and giving us something cold to drink and didn't charge us for anything. We got a map where everything was pointed out, sights, restaurants... More
