Lovely little hotel centrally situated situated in a perfect location for visiting all the tourist attractions. The staff are welcoming and helpful Breakfast is basic continental but they do offer a limited option of gluten free treats if you ask The only thing that let's the hotel down is that it is so noisy if you stay above the side... This was our third stay at Botticelli. Staff were so helpful, and allowed us to check in as soon as we arrived at 11.30am - our room was ready and very clean. We asked for an quiet room and were given one facing the inner courtyard - it was indeed quiet and we heard virtually no street noise. The bed... More

Tiny room that was super loud. We asked for a quiet room upon checkin after reading the reviews and the room they have us was overlooking a small swtreet in the back (room 211) that was supposed to be quiet. We were up all night for 3 night hearing people yelling and singing at 4am. There were Mosquitos and bugs... More

Great Hotel with friendly Staff. Set just one back from a square and the leather markets. The Square has an amazing food hall with lots of regional food (the stall holders are a little snooty and often refuse to serve you though). The hotel is clean with good sized rooms and a daily breakfast included.

Our daughter is studying abroad in Florence and we visited her for a few days in the middle of February. I chose the Hotel Botticelli because it was very near to where her apartment was. The location is wonderful.. very central.. only a block from the Lorenzo Market and a 3 minute walk to the Duomo. The hotel staff could... More

We stayed at Hotel Botticelli in September of this year as part of our honeymoon trip through northern Italy. The hotel was so kind as to leave champagne in our room for our arrival. The staff was so helpful from day to day greetings to helping us book a wine tour. The location is fantastic. A short walk from the... More

As a group of 5 women (3 generations) trying to find a hotel to suit everyone's needs could be a challenge. But we had no problems at this hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was perfect to start our day. Before we even arrived, the staff, in particular Cecile and Viviana,... More

We stay in the beginning of December. The hotel is located 5 - 10 mins away from every landmark in Florence. The renaissance building looks very charming, typical for the city. The rooms are small, but who needs more?! Enough to take a rest for all day sightseeing. Our room was street-seeing, where is the fair, but is wasn't too... More

I stayed at Hotel Botticelli back in 2004 (would not go back that far so chose May as we stayed in May) and still have sweet memories of it. I am surprised by the mention of noise....I did read to ask for a room at the back or side. We did stay in a room on the side not the... More

Location is excellent - close to Duomo, train station, leather market, museums. All within walking distance. Room was small, simple, clean but we could hear guests snoring and water running from showers and toilets. For the price, though, it was a good deal.
