Hotel Palazzio Vecchio Is a very well run hotel with clean well maintained rooms and very nice bathrooms. it is conveniently located only 2 blocks from the train station and only a few steps away from one of the best restaurants in town "Due G's" I have stay at this hotel no less than 10 times, the rooms in the... more

We stayed at this hotel a week ago. We had room no. 26. which was a huge room with a balcony but very dark room. We entered at night and I wanted to leave just then. One of the 3 lights with very voltage bulbs was not working. I pointed this out but they never took care of that. The... more

This hotel is a great base from which to explore Florence from. It's a stone's throw from the train station which in any city always has it's pluses and minuses - the first being that it's super convenient and the latter that being that since it's near the station, it's not usually the most picturesque part of the city. I... more

This is a budget hotel located near the train station and bus depot. I stayed here during the height of tourist season and appreciated the well-priced, clean room and the decent breakfast. My room faced an interior air shaft. At first, I was sorry not to have a view. But on the other hand, I had no street noise. The... more

We had to change the room because of the street noise. The first room we got was really small, noisy and ugly. Every single wall (and ceiling) was green painted... The second one was much better and we could sleep quite well. The breakfast was just OK, nothing special. The hotel is very near the train station and we could... more

My company booked a single room and when I arrived to the hotel they first gave me a a very small and really noisy room (ground floor). Then I complained and they gave me an also small and smelly one! Two blankets so old and dirty that I could not believe how is it possible. When I complaned about the... more

This is an excellent hotel, I have nothing bad to say about it. The staff are friendly, the location is central but quiet and my room was lovely, with a view of the Duomo. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel to a friend. more

Service? None! character - well I felt like I was at boarding school. The room was so small I couldn't fully open the bathroom door as it hit my bed. The only good thing about the location was that it was near the train station, which had very interesting characters drinking, smoking and begging! Would I stay again? Not a... more

Close to the train station, although its near the bus stop/pickup area, so it does get a bit noisy outside, especially as our window faced it. The room was big, booked a double room and the room had a double and two singles and had lots of room for suitcases. The bathroom was a decent size - and it even... more

Considering the ultra high prices of Florence and the traffic difficulties in this town, the Palazzo Vecchio was about as good as one can expect here. It's not in the center of town, but it is just a couple short blocks from the train station and only a few feet from a bus depot. It's only a 10 minute walk... more
