I've traveled Europe for many years now and I can say that this is without a doubt one of the best places I've stayed. Daniele is a fabulous host and made my group feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He gave us an introduction to Florence along with some great restaurant and gelateria recommendations. Everyone that we tried was... More

Our stay here was lovely. The host was very gracious. When we arrived he insisted that we have a little "chat" about Florence. He started with a map and marked the best Gelatarias in Florence (we tried them all!) He also marked several good restaurants that were not in the Rick Steves Guide book. We tried them and they were... More

Only spent one night in Firenze at Dei Mori, however we enjoyed it thoroughly. There cannot be a better location as it is in the center of all sites. Enrico was an outstanding host, very anxious to offer suggestions and was always there to take care of any needs we had and to make sure our stay was perfect. I... More

Had a great time in Florence and Dei Mori was perfect for our needs. Location, location, location! We walked from the train station but have a map, it's a short and small street! Enrico was so great of a host, good conversations. For a casual traveler you will love the lobby/living room to have breakfast and talk with fellow travelers.... More

Thank you Patrick Thank you for staying with us and sorry if we did not give you "The Best" From your review I could say that only the 2nd/3rd floor that we everywhere say "47 charming stone steps " might have been your problem with us because you say "rooms are not fancy, bathroom small, but our room was clean"... The Dei Mori experience started with a very warm greeting from Danny and an overview of the BnB's location to many of Firenze's most notable sights. The location is perfect - just about every sight, museum, shopping or restaurant is a 15 minute or less walk. Danny also recommended several eateries, two that we tried, which did not disappoint. The... More

Hello Michelle and thank-you thank-you thank-you for sucha nice feedback about my *child* the DeiMori B&B. Your writing cheered me up and gave me again strenght and courage for keeping going. It was long ago my last visit to trip advisor because I'm really afraid of finding some 4 out of 5 or some revenging and anyway damaging 1 out... More

Terrific stay once again with Danny at Dei Mori. I was there in April over the Easter break and we stayed about two weeks. This is our second trip there and as usual Dei Mori lived up to expectations. Clean and comfortable. It is central to absolutely everything--close to the train station and all the sights around Florence. The Uffizi... More

The place could not be best, walking distance from every main attraction yet on a street that had no noise at all :) The room was good, the bathroom was really small as also the double bed, but even so it was comfortable. The breakfast could have more choice as nothing is cooked on the moment. Even so a 4... More

Thank you Susana for staying with us and sorry if we did not give you "The Best" From your review I could say that you were expecting an American or English breakfast while in Italy we have and offer a Continental breakfast that has got no "cooked" nor immaginative alternatives, sorry about that . You've said "Even so a 4... More

This was the best location and nicest staff for our entire trip. The breakfast was nice, the rooms were clean and quiet, the library and balcony were very welcoming. We received a great overview of the city from the staff with dinner and site seeing recommendations. Bring a map, or you will never find this place. Perfect location - could... More

First of all, you can't beat the location. Second of all, a great host makes for a great visit and that's what we found at Dei Mori. A full walk through of the city, a map with circles, lines and great routes to follow. In fact, we decided to attempt a stop at every recommended restaurant and gelateria and we... More
