We have enjoyed many visits at Dei Mori, over the past 16 years. The tranquil ambience, welcoming staff and lovely furnishings combine to create a unique accommodation in Florence. The staff excels in helping the tourists new to Florence plan their sightseeing, and their recommendations for restaurants consistently first rate. And the ceilings in the rooms are beautifully painted, adding... More

After a long day visiting museums and walking around Florence, we loved returning to Dei Mori B&B and relaxing in the living room or sprawling on the comfy bed in our room. The hosts made us feel right at home, offering limoncello along with advice on good restaurants and gelaterias. We spent the first night in the room we had... More

We stayed at Dei Mori for three days and it was simply wonderful. First the facility - Comfortable beds, good food, a lovely terrace, beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for more. We didn't find the steps difficult - with all the walking you do in Italy, this was just a little more. A plus was that the wifi worked... More

I just read a negative review that said, among other things, that the owner, Danny, is condescending, the beds are uncomfortable, and space is cramped. I couldn't disagree more. Like the negative reviewer, I've been to Florence before, but I greatly valued Danny's excellent advice and good humor. He knows his city inside and out. His recommendations for restaurants were... Please be aware that this B&B is on the 2nd floor (as in Europe this is actually 3rd floor, with 47 winding stairs and NO elevator!) Our group was combo midlife/young adults, carrying suitcases made for 3 weeks in Europe. We arrived later than usual so had a quick talk done by owner at the 'kitchen' table. Informative, yes. Condescending,... More

From the very beginning you must trust Danny and his knowledge, experience and familiarity of the Florence area. When he says don't drive to the B&B, he knows what he is talking about. He knows his town and guides you accordingly. Florence was wonderful and busy. The Dei Mori is very well situated. Ten steps to the right and ten... More

This was one of the best B&B experiences I have had! My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Danny was so friendly and helpful - a true gem. He gave us great pointers about how to get the most out of our visit to Florence, helped us retrieve lost luggage (a real hassle!!!),... More

My daughter and I spent a most delightful 4 night break with Danny at his charming B&B right in the centre of Florence. Danny shared his knowledge of the city and his recommendations for restaurants, cafes, walks and sightseeing suggestions were spot on. His daily freshly made bread was always delicious especially when consumed in the sun on the balcony!... More

Spent three great nights with Danny at his B&B. Location is awesome. Walking directions from train station were easy to follow. Danny does an introductory meeting to orient you to Florence with tips on the best sights, food and gelato! Follow Danny's suggestions and you can't go wrong. We had booked reservations at the Accadamia but not the Uffizi. Danny's... More

Like everyone says, the location is key! Its up a few stairs and pretty basic but very clean, well kept and quiet, especially for the money, you could not ask for anything better. We would get up in the morning to wonderful coffee and fresh continental breakfast and basically tour all day. Daniel is the perfect host.
