We stayed at hotel Cimabue for two nights. I liked the place. It's not that far from the downtown area, it takes 10-15 minutes to get to the main sites by foot. Staff was really friendly. The only negative aspect was the breakfast, it was very simple and they didn't have many items to choose from. more

We spent a really good time at this Hotel. The high, frescoed ceiling as well as the furniture were beautiful. The breakfast served was very satisfying with a full selection of fruit, cereals, breads, sweets, and coffees. The staff was always very helpful. Location was great, just 15 mins walk to the sites on quiet street away from the masses... more

We stayed at Hotel Cimabue for 4 nights in July. This hotel is central. It has a very homely atmosphere and is very clean. The rooms are large, with air conditioning, free internet access and other facilities one would require for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was very good and served in a very comfortable area. Highly recommended for the hospitality... more

Such a charming, quaint hotel. Located about 9long blocks from the train station ... this is a decent walk if you're pulling baggage and it's all slightly up hill! But it is away from the noise of central Florence. The room was decorated in antique wood furniture with a large double door opening out into a sitting area ... mainly... more

We arrived at 11:00am, and were told that check in was a ridiculous unheard of 3pm. Room was really small, Staff were not friendly, absolutely no customer service and rude. Bathroom way too small. Mosquito's that had been killed by previous customers, all over the walls... absolutely disgusting. Breakfast was poor, bread rolls and cereal. Staff on duty was too... more

When we arrived the man in reception wasn't nice at all. He just told us the check in was at 3pm so we had to leave the bags ( it was around 11am) and go. They gave us a room in ground floor so if you open the window you could see absolutely everyone, so we stay 5 days!!! with... more

The location of the hotel was good, not too close to the busy streets and not noisy. However, if you look at the website the bedrooms look lovely and are certainly what you expect to get when you arrive, especially as we had booked our 3 night stay a few months in advance. Unfortunately, by the time we got from the... more

We booked this hotel cause it looked good on the webpage and was a family run place. The location is a bit away from the center of Florence but its no problem to walk if you are reasonably fit. The room was large but very simple. Old furniture and a shower in a small cabin in the hall !! Hard... more
