For a city trip or a weekend break, Hotel Azzi sits in a location central enough to walk around the city. Sights were easy walks to, food is easily accessed nearby, and a market selling leather goods and souvenirs is within walking distance. Forget the typical hotels with modernistic style. Hotel Azzi is stylish and artistic in its very own... More

Less than 5mins walk from the SMN station, a friend had recommended this place to me and we loved it. Valentino (the owner) was an absolute delight; friendly, helpful and hilarious and all of his staff were equally nice. We had a ground floor room at the back of the breakfast room (so no stairs to climb) and it was... More

Stayed 3 nights in the Artist's double room. Room size was not huge and with "antique" furniture. Still reasonable and very clean, though. Environment is surely interesting and fits someone looking for some old Europe style. Position is a great point of this hotel: very near to train station and walking distance from most of the great places in Florence.... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the quadruple room, which was located on the ground floor of the hotel. It was quite a large room by European standards and was comfortable and clean. The hotel is very convenient if you are traveling by train as it is an easy 5 minute walk from the SMN train station. We arrived at... More

This is one of my favorite hotels in the world! The location is just perfect, next to the train station, THE VIEW FROM MY WINDOWN WAS THE DUOMO. Gotta say WONDERFUL! The front desk people were so kind! Strongly recommend. More

This hotel was a nightmare - the photos which they show on the websites do not correspond to what I saw at all. Small, very dark and dirty room with old, cheap and seedy furnitures. There was no shower tube in the bathroom so the water was falling down on everything (water closet (just imagine using that, when it is... More

Good location as it was a 5 minutes walk from the SMN train station. Dragged our luggages through cobblestone walks and got a little lost finding the hotel. Lady at reception was friendly, helpful and speaks English well. Checked us into our rooms and helped us book a Chianti wine tour with no problems. Absolutely love the charm of the... More

We landed up at Azzi when we turned up in Florence at 6pm without a room in hand. We checked out the hotel next door but ran away when we saw the bedbugs. A friendly store owner from across the street saw us standing in the streets with our bags and decided to go have a chat with the receptionist.... More

We were 2 days in Florence and the hotel was a comfortable stay. The location is great, 5 min walk from the main station, quiet, spacious and clean room. The reception staff is polite and speaks good English. The price was reasonable as well. We just walked through the streets of Florence and it is an amazing city, an open... More
