The hotel is situated in an ancient building, five minutes away from the Duomo. The hotel has a relaxing ambiance that creates a welcoming feel. The rooms are cleaned and well maintained. Close to the main train station. But otherwise old, my room was cold, very basic and the bathroom was a walk down the passage - granted I did know it would be an external private bathroom, but didn't think down the passage and past a public seating area. Very friendly staff, awesome breakfast (especially the warm croissants), good location, nice clean rooms and if you are lucky you might even be serenaded in to lobby by the staff. The only thing I would have liked was to have faster internet service in the rooms however it works perfectly in the lobby. More
