Everything about this hotel was great: the location, the room, the breakfast and the staff. I would definitely stay there again. I was given maps and recommendations of where to visit and eat when I arrived and the location a few minutes from the station and a few minutes from the old city centre is ideal.

I especially regret staying at this hotel having paid a high rate when I booked though a popular hotel booking site. Even though located within walking distance of the landmarks such as the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery Was totally dismayed when i entered the building with the reception area looking like a study desk from the 19th century. The... More

We have just returned from a wonderful time in Florence and stayed at this hotel for four nights. Apart from having no record of our booking (!) we found all the staff to be very helpful and the hotel was clean throughout. The rooms are quite small, but this is to be expected in a city like Florence, but certainly... More

It is clean. The room is ok. The best is the location in the middle of town. Guys: is you arrive by the main station do not take a cab. The hotel is one block from the station. I made the mistake and paid 20 Euros. The manager is a very nice guy as well as the personnel.

An excellent hotel, nicely located 5 minutes aah from train station. Helpful staff. Only thing to grumble about was the light sensor badly placed in bathroom switching off lights very five minutes. Good overall continentalk breakfast.

It was comfortable, clean and best of all within walking distance to everything!!! If you are expecting a new hotel, probably best not to come to one of the oldest cities there is, but if you want a hotel that is a reasonable price and clean, this is it.

Room was fair few stairs but not to bad. Security reasonable. On first appearances quite good but then at night the noise from the street was hideous. Seemed we were sleeping without a wall. Hard to find hotel poorly signed. Once found easy enough to get to station even on cobble streets. Interesting area around hotel. Note we were on... More

Stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. Loads of character, helpful, obliging staff and the breakfast was a bonus. Close to the railway station and then a short stroll to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi gallery etc. Plenty of good eating places nearby. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Sometimes all you want is a quiet, comfortable night sleep! We were traveling through Florence for the day, coming from the train station and leaving the next day. The staff were helpful, taking our luggage up the stairs to our room, and storing it in a locked room the next day so we could explore Florence until our train departure... More
