We returned to this hotel for the third time because of its location and affordability, and of course the friendly staff. However I was little disappointed to find out that there are few things that are not well maintained. Drain pipe was clogged and I had to clean it myself because water literally overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Cushion covers... More

My friends and I (group of 4) stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in the Signoria Apartment. It was VERY spacious! The apartment had a kitchen & laundry included, with a large living room and 2 sleeping areas. 1 was a bedroom with a queen bed, and the other was a loft style section joining the living room with... We came in by train in the morning, leaving the evening after. We were positively received, welcomed both to stay early and to hang out in the lounge when picking up our luggage on the way back. It is very special, a bit hard to find and with the reception down a winding corridor on the second floor. Still, once... More

This was a wonderful hotel. My husband and I had one night in Florence with lots to accomplish. This hotel was very centrally located to everything. My only point would be that the growl entrance is in an alley. So the taxi could not get us right to the door. But it is literally a 10-15ft walk. We had a... More

Great charming hotel that's a tremendous value. Couldn't be in a better location - right next to Piazza Signoria, Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio (and I mean right next to them), but quiet. Easy walk to any of the main sites/museums. It was nice to end our evening hanging out at the piazza, where there's always something going on at night, and... More

We really loved this hotel in Florence. The decor is quite old fashioned but it kind of adds to its charm. The location is fantastic and is right in the centre of the city. We had a beautiful room and it felt in keeping with the area. The breakfast, while nice, was very awkward and silent. I don't know how... More

The location of the hotel is excellent, 2 minute walk to Piazzi Della Signoria where Uffizi Gallery is located and open square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large for Italy. The negative is the furnishings of the rooms and hotel in general need to be updated. The breakfast was standard Italian breakfast but they... More

We ended up staying in the attached Uffizi House property. Everything was fine, except that it was confusing to arrive in Florence after midnight and get shuttled to another entrance around the corner. The parking situation is confusing (arrive before they close at 1am, get a ride to the hotel) and driving as far as the parking garage is confusing... More

I knew when I booked it that this hotel was centrally located. Little did I know, what a FANTASTIC location it really was! You are maybe 50 feet off the Piazza Signoria, the alley just to the right of the Loggia. Down that alley and then 15 feet down another alley. And the word alley does not describe the charming,... Relais Uffizi overlooks the Vecchio Palace and while not all the rooms have a view of the square, the ones that don't are pin-drop quiet. It's about a three minute walk to the Uffizi -- one of Europe's top three art museums. The air conditioning worked well in the midst of one of Italy's worst heat waves. The multi-lingual staff... Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
