We stayed many times in Florence in some of the most ' famous ' hotels and I can guarantee you that the 'Relais Uffizi' has nothing to envy to them! Incredible Location right in the middle of Florence, 15 seconds to Piazza della signoria and 45sec to the Uffizi! Lovely rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely... More

The location couldn't be better, nor the staff more helpful. My large room in the main building was clean and very comfortable, with a small but perfectly functional bathroom. Bed linen and towels were high quality and changed during my stay, even though it was only 4 nights. There was lots of choice for breakfast and the coffee was excellent.... More

Since the buildings are from the 1500s, they are narrow, with steep steps and often no elevator. Our accommodations were on the 3rd floor of the Annex, up very steep, well-worn sloped marble steps… so fun to traverse carrying luggage! Upon dropping our bags in our room, which was nicely appointed with a king bed and modern bath, we quickly... More

We loved this hotel located on the Piazza della Signoria. Men in medieval costumes marched and ran by our hotel dining room often. We excitedly ran to the windows to take photos. Our rooms were lovely, our bathroom done beautifully in green tile. The staff was extremely helpful both during our making reservations and while we were there. Atsko booked... More

Great location, amazing value, nothing flashy or lux, simple accommodation which worked very well for us. There are so many fancy hotels in Florence that's it's good to find something simple and affordable when you want it. No complaints at all - we got exactly what we expected and probably more.

We have stayed at this charming hotel every October for four years now, and fully intend to go back in 2015. We have decided that it is the staff which makes the Relais uffizi so special. The members of this small hand picked group are always the same, and are without exception friendly, hard working and obliging. They make us... More

This hotel is the perfect location to all of Florence! Comfortable, clean rooms with modern bathrooms and friendly, happy service. A good breakfast each morning, as well. One downside, if you open your window, the alley is very noisy at night. Use your ear plugs from your airplane trip and all is good.

A few steps from our door we were in the center of Florence. For 6 days and 5 nights in October, our home base in the Annex was the perfect location to explore Florence, and we did! Each day taking off in a different direction we could always easily get back to the hotel to drop off purchases or put... More

We stayed at the Relais Uffizi for five nights in October, 2014. We did not have any of the problems mentioned in the negative reviews and I note that most of them were back in 2008, were about rooms in the Annex or complaints about difficulty finding the hotel. We were in room 5 on the reception level in the... More

We were excited about our stay there, and pleased that the price seemed reasonable, but it was really shabby, and disappointing. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast and common room were nice, but our room just looked tired. For 350 euros, I expected more. The location was excellent, but the place left us feeling flat.
