Well, lovely property and room, but . . . If the knats and/or mosquitos are hatching, ouch. The air con was not up to the task, so we opened the patio door and window at night. Great. The night air was cool enough. But woke up itching like mad. Country living. Walking the grounds next day, big hatch and swarms... More

The hotel was in a charming neighborhood above Florence with amazing views of the city. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the grounds were charming. The best views were from the second floor. I was a little disappointed in the dining room but there were great restaurants within walking distance.

On the south side of the Arno, above the Boboli Gardens, on a quiet side street is this oasis of peace. It takes only 20 minutes to walk down to the Pitti Palace and to join the throngs of people doing what we all came to do - visit the heart of the Renaissance. The decor is from an earlier,... More

This is a quick bus ride from the town'a busy center, so it's away from all the commotion. It's hidden in a nice calm street where its silent at night. Overlooking the city from your beautiful balcony, a wonderful garden with fountains and a pool with chairs. Excellent breakfast, excellent wifi, super nice workers, next to a few restaurants right... We just stayed here for 2 days and thought what a beautiful location above Florence yet close enough to walk to the city square and enjoy the life that is Florence but far enough away to avoid the noises..

A classic Italian villa with fantastic views of Florence situated in a quiet residential area yet close (walking distance) to amenities (bus route, restaurants). The Italian owner and his family were extremely helpful to us enjoying a quick few days taster tour of the area. His recommends included parking tips, unique traditional trattorias and a bus route into the tourist... More

The hotel was fantastic with a wonderful view in beautiful gardens. The room was big, with lots of charm, lots of windows and ours had French doors to a balcony. The bathroom was lovely except the shower over the bath had the head centred not at the end but in the middle which we found a little odd, and not... More

This is a beautiful villa overlooking Florence. It is in a great location with easy access to most attractions. The rooms were nice although we did have problems with the air conditioning and the staff were not really willing to take a look at it. The wait staff are outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Despite getting lost and then being ripped off by a Florencian taxi driver - we arrived mid afternoon at the Villa Belvedere . The first thing that struck us was the neatness of the hotel and it's grounds ! We were greeted and given our room key (room 36) Nothing prepared us tho for the view we were about to... More

The best choice of hotel in Firenze without having to staying in the old city with parking problems (one need to have a car). The Hotel is beautiful, we got a room with balcony facing the old city of Firenze, it has a beautifull garden and a small swimming pull, the dining room was very pleasant with windows facing the...
