This Hotel is centraly located, but this is the only positive thing on it. Quality is poor, low quality furniture, broken bath, not clean, very simple breakfast. Staff is kind of nice. My room was located towards to noisy street and my choice was very simple: either to sleep bad because I had closed window, or not sleep at all,... More

I would stay here again. Great location, price is right for a quick stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Strange walk up to check in. This wouldn't work if handicapped. Okay rooms but from the looks of today's pics, they have made some great updates.

Very authentic hotel with amazing staff and manager. The service was amazing and the rooms were nice. Contributed to my stay in Florence and they gave great suggestions of activities and restaurants. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Two friends of mine and I stayed here for our first night in Florence. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The hotel manager suggested a great restaurant for us to eat at and we received a discount for being students! The manager even gave us a bottle of wine at the end... More

(-) Noise...Noise...Noise... Not enough isolation for window (5mm gap between window&its frame and all street noise comes into the room). We woke up around 5 o'clock in the morning because of street noise... At last, we had to put newspapers between frame and window in order to prevent the noise. The room door has the same isolation problem and all... More

This is a nice little bargain hotel near the train station, the San Lorenzo cathedral and Del Duomo. It's a bit old; the towels are more like linens (maybe unique to Florence); and you're likely to notice street noise from emergency vehicles and late night revelers. The staff members are friendly and it is walking distance to anywhere in the... More

The hotel was very friendly and accommodating. For example, they set up breakfast early for us because our train left at 7am. Worth buying the breakfast at the hotel compared to what you'll pay nearby. Hotel Delle Tele was a pleasure to stay at. Friendly staff, great location and nice price.

Perfectly positioned for all the sights and very close to the railway station. The staff went out of their way to offer helpful advice and were very welcoming. Ideally situated for some excellent restaurants, particularly Ciro & Sons, which is just around the corner. The breakfast was great value.

A very clean, and easy location to explore a beautiful city. We were welcomed warmly and given great recommendations on local food and attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again when I go back.

Located a few minutes' walk from the main train station SMN and close to the Duomo. This is perfect for exploring the main attractions of Florence. Staff are helpful. Wifi (no extra charge) is available throughout the hotel incl. guest rooms. I did however notice it wasn't available through the middle of the night, then it came back on in... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
