Upon arrival you must walk up winding spiral staircase with NO lighting. Pitch dark, even during the day. Very dangerous. Perfect place to get mugged. There are much better hotels on the same block at lower prices. more

We were in Italy for our honeymoon. We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Delle Tele. Checking in was a nightmare...elevator was broken, was had to walk up three flights of stairs to the "lobby" in pitch dark. Literally we used a cell phone to not trip on the stairs (with luggage). The owner checked us in and was extremely rude,... more

My wife and me stayed at this hotel for 7 days at the end of August'09. Everything was fine and I'm really surprised when I read some negative comments herebelow. Clean room, bathroom, corridors... Safe, a/c, tv, and e.t.c, everything was in operable condition... Paintings on the walls. Friendly and ready-to-help staff. It close to main attractions points in Florence... more

We found the Hotel Delle Tele to be a wonderful hotel, nestled within a 17th century building. It's a small hotel (15 rooms) and the staff (Giovanni and Andrea) cater to their guests wonderfully. Our room was wonderful, being a large size (for Europe) with an in-room bath. The hotel is in the very center of Firenze (you can see... more

Stayed for 3 nights, but should have left after first night. Rooms are very, very basic, no safe in room, bathroom tiny, service patchy and bed vibrated whenever a car drove past. Small hotel and reception staff spoke loudly on phone keeping us awake at night and woke us early in morning. Give it a miss. more

We thankfully found the Hotel Delle Tele once we'd decided not to stay at the god forsaken hole of a 'hotel' that we had intially booked into. This is a great little place to stay - Its very clean, comfortable with good size rooms and reception that is manned 24 hours a day. Its more B&B style than hotel but... more

This was the worst hotel I have never been into in the last 20 years (I have been in 20 countries). . The safe and phone line did not operate for the five days of my staying, and had not been repaired despite my repeated requests. The staff has basic attitude problem, especially the night shifter. In order tp plug... more

We stayed at this awful hotel for 3 nights. We were 4 girls in our 30's and 40's with 2 rooms. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location, very convenient to the train station. 2 brothers, Osvando and Giovanni bought this hotel about a year ago. One couldn't sit on the toilet straight without... more

I just came back from my trip in Italy. I was staying in Florence (Firenze) for 3 days (2 nights) in a hotel called “Hotel delle Tele” (I’ll put hotel’s data at the end of this overview for you to be sure of which one I’m talking about). Its location is nice for ones traveling on train- it’s really close... more

We stayed in Tuscany for a week and planned an extra day to spend in Florence, so we booked a hotel in Florence for a night before flying home. While the hotel is in a great location..... close to the Duomo, the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio, it was on a very busy and very noisy street. We had an early... more
