The best part about the hotel was the location. We took many day trips from Florence and it was a five minute walk to the train station. It was also a ten minute walk down to the duomo. The room and bed were clean but the family who owns the hotel smokes in the hotel and you could smell it... More

Pretty basic hotel, but made nice by the family who run it, the cheap price and the proximity to everything. There are three flights of stairs which made getting the pram and my ever expanding pasta girth up the flights a little difficult. They love kids and were great with our baby, but so it seems are everyone in Italy.... More

This b&b is located only a few minutes walk from the main train station and is a short walk to all main attractions. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Our room was very large, spacious and clean and had a cute view of rooftops outside. The breakfast was great - varied pastries, fruit, juice and cappuccinos. Just a note:... More

Very good location , central but also quit, basically perfect.Rooms are large and clean. what you need for a short stay. Good value for money. Definitely suggested if you want a budget hotel and do not mind climb 3 floor of stairs without elevator.

The hotel is run by a family who were all very friendly and helpful (we asked them to refrigerate our food in their kitchen and to boil water to make tea). The hotel is a bit off the center near the station area but is a short walk from the main cathedral in Florence. The breakfast was very nice in... More

Not your normal hotel, from having to knock and wait to be let in at the front door ( whatever the time of day or night) to listening to the owners going about their lives down the corridor. On a plus side the hotel is in a lovely central location with all the normal sights only a short walk away.

Nice staff, family owned and very helpful. The bathroom had recently been redone so nice and clean. The room was in dire need of repainting and the air conditioner needed a clean filter. No screen on the window to open it at night to let some air in (mosquitos in Florence are pretty active), only screen was in the bathroom.... More

The most amazing stay! Typical Italian family running the show ; mama, papa, and granny!! Old school charm. AMAZING COFFEE!!! Original art is all over this place by artist A Ffresco ! Something haunting and beautiful about everything here. The place is set by a very busy hip and happening road called via Nazionale. Lots of bars restaurants stores and an... More
