I stayed at the Hotel Stella Mary from June 13-18 and found the place charming. I liked the old 1929 elevator. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lady on desk most helpful. Breakfast was very good. (Cappucino - excellent) Very close to termini. Quiet street. Stayed two nights before moving on to Pisa, excellent clean and comfortable room with shower and toilet. Lady on reception was excellent explaining sights to see and recommended restaurants, which was the best Italian we had ever eaten !! more

My friend and I stayed in the Hotel Annabella in September 2005, and found it to be a clean, pretty and comfortable hotel. AC is turned off at midnight. Opening the window cools the room, but the noise is unbearable. Busses go by all night, and the street is cleaned at 4:30 am every morning by loud sweepers. more
