We stayed in room 18, which overlooked the patio off the bar, breakfast area. It was really lovely. The room was huge compared to European standards. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking distance from train station and near all sights of Florence. The staff were friendly and helpful.They all spoke perfect English. Within easy walking distance of all interesting churches, museums and art stores. Helpful staff, charming building, spacious room (although the bathroom was a little cramped). As stated, we booked this hotel through the Travelzoo promotion, which gave us rates of about 70 EURO per night. Apparently the hotel normally charges way more than that.
