Returned to the Albion Hotel this June. This family run hotel is centrally located, just two blocks from the river and a 15 minute walk from the center of Florence. Massimo, the owner, went above and beyond helping us deal with a car problem that required a tow and mechanic's work! Thank you, Massimo!

I stay here often, Massimo and Sara are caring wonderful people who will do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one. Rooms are good size for italy, they don't charge extra rip off fees for internet, and location us convenient.

2 night stay June 2015 Bed and breakfast. Booked at only a days notice. 120 euros per night. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. En-suite spotless. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Hotel interior quite quirky and interesting, no lift. Well situated to walk into city. Staff accommodating. Small car park available but at a cost of 14 euros per... More

Very convenient hotel within walking distance of all attractions. Owners have perfect English and are very helpful. Gave us information re trains to Lucca/Pisa etc. Breakfast good by Italian standards.

I can highly recommend the Albion as a wonderful hotel and if I have the opportunity to return to I would definitely stay there again. I traveled to Florence for a conference and stayed in the Freda Karlo room which was very comfortable in every way. I did not find the room noisy and there was a lovely view to... More

They get an A+ for effort. Any disappointing details are easily forgotten and you leave with a very nice and pleasent souvenir of staying at the Albion, with their wonderful reception! It is very well situated; minutes from the train station and just as close to the Arno. The area is calm and secure. It could benefit from double windows... More

Albion hotel is run by the Ravalli, a kind family which will help you to enjoy Firenze, its monuments and museums. They're not just owners, but people who like the city and its history, happy to share them with anyone who ask.

After traveling throughout Greece & Italy with students from our school this spring, I can say that the Albion was one of my most favorite and memorable lodging arrangements. It was unlike any hotel I'd ever stayed in before! The Albion is not the most modern hotel, but it has all the modern conveniences while retaining its historical charm. It... More

We had visited Albion several years ago, and were so delighted that we wanted to stay here on our return to Firenze. It was an excellent decision. The family-owned institution is unique in my experience. The hospitality from Sara and her family is as warm and welcoming as anyone could ask for. Décor is fascinating, with a large library accessible... More

Family run hotel within comfortable walking distance of centre with plenty of good dining places available nearby. Secure car parking a big plus. Family and staff very friendly and helpful with advice on local attractions - not just the obvious central ones.
