Old hotel, plumbing didn't work, wifi didn't work and we didn't feel comfortable. Go somewhere else if you can. Not close to anything but was on a tour and obviously a deal was made with the tour company. Even the breakfast was horrible. Barely a step above a hostel.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Nothing fancy - our room was clean and spacious. However the English man on night duty was disrespectful, rude and downright condescending. Returning to the hotel late one evening with some fellow travellers I required access to my room with the master key. Instead of assisting me in a polite and straightforward... More

Our room was on the top floor near the back and very quiet. I was surprised to read that some people found the rooms to be dirty as ours was exceptionally clean. The hotel is old but appears to be well maintained. The only problem we encountered on our 3 night stay was intermittent difficulty getting hot water in the... More

First, the directions via email received were imprecise and got us walking two miles after getting off bus 14 from S.M. Novella train station to the hotel. After that, we asked for directions again for our return and imprecise again but less walking time. Third time, a different person at the reception desk gave us the right stop, which is... More

Room was sort of small, but included mini-fridge. Bathroom was okay. Staff was pleasant. Though the patio looks nothing like the management pictures, we did sit out there one evening with a glass of wine from the bar and chatted, sheltered from the light rain by the heavy covering of leaves on the overhead trellis. It was an easy walk... More

Reception staff on front desk were young and inexperienced and had to check any queries with senior staff I a rear room. Lounge was very small. There were four steep steps leading to reception and no ramp or anybody to help with cases. The room was very small, pokey and claustrophobic but clean. Window shutters were jammed three quarters of... More

Absolutely and depressingly filthy and outdated. No internet other than in the 60's style museum that passes for a lounge. Mostly rude staff. Clerk insisted U settle uo front for visitors tax the moment I checked in for a 5 night stay. Far from EVERYTHING ! I truly regret not having checked other traveller reviews but my trip was arranged... More

We came here around 10 pm and we quikly had a room. With a free parkingplace. It was hot and the airconditioning didn't work. The room was old, but clean. Bathroom could use an update. View was nice, staff also and the breakfast to. No 4 star hotel, but we didn't pay that much either and you only have to... More

Well, location is excellent, that is probably the only 4 star thing about this hotel. Rooms are not that bad , but they are not clean at all. Breakfast is ok, staff in restaurant and in hotel is also 3 star, not 4 definetly, on pictures there is a nice terase on top of hotel, but to be true there... More

Awful, rude service and dirty rooms. Dated furniture. And really awful night manager. We came in late one night and before we made it through the door, the man at the desk was shushing us furiously, even though we knew to be quiet. As we were getting our keys, one of the girls in our group made a joke with... More
