We had a great experience here. The hotel is just a few minutes from the main railway station and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions in Firenze. We were particularly impressed with the young man on the reception desk (it's some time ago now and I don't recall his name). He helped us considerably with advice an... More

we stayed in this hotel on our second leg of our tour of Italy, it's convenient as its a five minute walk from the train station, but Iam afraid that's were the good news ends. The room we stayed in had two single beds, there was a window that overlooked a very small courtyard from which cooking smells drifted, the... More

The location is 5 mins from the station, though locating the hotel was a task. Need more signages. Cozy hotel. Comfortable stay, but cold breakfast :-( Shower curtains were bad. Very friendly and smiling staff.

The staff was very helpful and nice when it came to getting around. Walking distance from the train station, which was very convenient. Museums and Cathedrals were just a short walk away. The only downfall was it only had wifi, in the main lounge area. The rooms looked just like the pictures, and were clean. It was overall a nice... More

Just returned from a 3 night 4 day break - disappointing hotel - room with no natural light and dismal bathroom that needed renovating. That said, it was in a great location and was clean . Florence is about the sights so if you're not too bothered about accommodation it will do!

Lovely room with balcony and a complimentary bottle of fizz for our honeymoon. However very limited breakfast. Very close to train station and historic centre, but due to this a very noisy location all night!

Basic hotel in the San Lorenzo area, in the city center, Very well located! Basic but good value for money. Pedestrian area. Close to everything and very good restaurants nearby. The covered Market is a must see. Near Santa Maria Novella train station.

We were meant to stay in another hotel, but because they were full we were upgraded to San Giorgio. We were obviously worried at first, because we weren't sure what to expect, but we shouldn't have worried. The staff were so friendly, the room was comfortable and we had a balcony with a table which was lovely. The bathroom was... More

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel because of its great location; walking distance to Firenze SMN station & main sights of Florence. Reasonably priced with 24-hr front desk. Clean room with basic bathroom amenities (only had a small bar of soap, shower cap). The only bad thing was that the wifi in our room wouldn't connecting... More
