Stayed here for two nights with family and it was a fine hotel. Decent breakfast. Close to train station, all sights, and shops. Had a great room with balcony view of courtyard. AC worked fine which was good in 90+ degree heat. Staff was helpful booking us a reservation for the Academia which you need to do in advance (oops).

We had a large, comfortable room but the rooms are a bit tired. AC worked fine. Staff very helpful. WiFi only really works in foyer. Very convenient to railway station. Good breakfast but it seems to take them ages to clear the tables. You get what you pay for and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel stuff were friendly and its close to alot of things like market n trains n laundry n supermarket. But the room is very old style and the "free wifi" dorsnt even work from the room on the 4th floor have to sit next to the elevator stairs to get a solid connection. And the breakfast was very light... More

i didn't enjoy my 2 nights in this hotel. It is certainly convenient to the train station and markets, but honestly there is A lift that takes 2 persons and 2 suitcases, that's it and takes for ever. The breakfast is passable but there is NO smile with the service. The reception is no better. My room was so small,... More

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast lacked variety. The bathrooms were small and bed wasn't comfortable. Location was great for the street markets, restaurants and train station. I wouldn't suggest this for a honeymoon, stick to 4 - 5 star hotels.

We stayed here as part of a tour of Italy, we reached Florence by train and the hotel was in a perfect position. We were close to the market which was well worth a visit and 5 minutes from the main attractions Florence has to offer. We found this especially useful as it was so hot when we visited we... More

This hotel was incredible! It is close to everything in Florence. The rooms are spacious and nice. The breakfast is very very good. And most importantly the people that work there are really really nice! We have traveled all over the world as a family and this is the best service we have ever gotten. Thank You hotel San Giorgio.... More

We only stayed in Florence for one night, and we didn't particularly need any longer, but this hotel was enough for a short stay, it was just very basic, but if you are after cheaper accommodation this'll do. Very close to train station, we could walk with very heavy luggage, and close to some restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly... More

Stayed three nights here following three nights in Venice and travelling to Florence by train. The hotel was close to the train station, the reception staff were really friendly and gave us a good welcome. They were also really helpful booking us excursions and giving us directions - particularly Oliver. The room was quite basic, but air conditioned and clean,... More

This is a great location, it is walking distance to everything in Florence, museums, churches, the Arno river and only five minutes to the Santa Maria railway station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is quite old, it has a quaint looking lobby and reception, it even has an old telephone booth. Our breakfast was included, cold continental... More
