We are gold age couple. We were happy to stay in Villa Liana during two weeks July 2015. We had huge room equipped by antique furniture with private small garden, nice full equipped bathroom. This Villa has its own charming history as a former residence of British Ambassador and you will feel it. Amazing staff helped us a lot, incredible... More

We spent 4 1/2 days here in Florence after a sweaty experience in Venice. The family room (at the top of the stairs) was nice and private. The air conditioning was excellent, and welcome with the upper 90s weather. Sumptuous brunch every day, which the kids totally loved. A great location, very close to the hop on City Sightseeing bus,... More

I'll start with how you get there, on arrival at Pisa airport you can either get the train or bus. We arrived at .22.00hrs and the bus was the only option €13 each return so not bad! The bus was subsidised by Ryanair and takes around an hour tonget to Florence and drops you out the front of the train... More

I don't know what people are sleeping on but we didn't get any sleep from our room. The beds were so hard they were like sleeping on concrete, the pillows where so bad I thought they got them from a consignment shop and the noise was so bad from the streets it wake the dead. Not worth the money or... More

This hotel is in an 18th century palace on a quiet street with a great romantic atmosphere. Our room was large, comfortable, and very quiet at night. The hotel is an easy walk to the sights in Florence and has secure off street parking in a garden. The price was very fair and included an excellent breakfast in a frescoed... More

We stayed in Hotel Villa Liana for 3 nights while we enjoyed 4 very relaxing days in Florence. The hotel was packed full of character (it used to be the British embassy building in its time) and was perfectly located 15 minutes walk from the centre (around Duomo etc). The added bonus was that it had parking which made life... More

The location is within 20 minutes, by foot, to most attractions. The rooms were of fair size and comfortable with a large washroom that was bright. The staff were quite helpfull but gave us conflicting information. There was no lift and the cielings were 14' high, so the 2nd floor rooms were actually 4 stories up the stairs. The WIFI... More

Great breakfast , many choices and very nice . Good onsite parking .Great value for money spent . Walked off street at 8.30pm got... More

Stayed for 2 nights, arrived in the early evening, and was met by very pleasant man who completed the formalities very efficiently, provided us with a map and gave some directions. Was shown to room on the ground floor, it was spacious, large comfortable bed, Muriel on the ceiling. Walk in shower in the bathroom. Very high ceilings, as were... More

Stayed here for a week in Florence in early January 2015. My room was on the ground floor and was just a 'standard' room but it had a large double bed and ensuite. The wardrobe was big enough to put my suitcase in and hang some clothes. Breakfast was included in the price and was 'help yourself' - pastries and... More
