I spent five nights at this delightful and historic hotel in downtown Florence - on a quiet street with all the fancy-name designer stores and just a couple blocks from many of the historic sights and museums. Just one block to the river! The staff is friendly and courteous throughout; the room was comfortable and quiet (with welcome AC on... More

Treated like royalty at this wonderful hotel. On the "Rodeo Drive" of Florence. Nice and quite in the evenings. Clean street and rooms. Patio with a fantastic view of red roof tops and the sunsets in the evening, great place to drink or dine. Service was perfect! Breakfast was great with the best warm croissant ever! I would go back... More

We stayed 3 nights in early May 2015 and enjoyed most aspects of this venerable property. It is full of character with old wooden ceilings, beautiful tile floors and a gorgeous rooftop patio-garden on the 4th floor. The hotel staff was very professional and accommodating to all of our requests and the breakfast served on the 2nd floor was excellent.... More

Stayed for 3 nights in May. A beautiful spot. As with many hotels in Florence it's in a lovely quirky old building so some of the rooms are up a few stairs, down a corridor... Our room was lovely, quiet and spacious. Staff are very friendly. The rooftop garden us a great spot to relax and unwind from the busy... More

I'm writing this on our last night of a four night stay. The hotel is on the main, high end shopping street , Via Tourabuoni, with Tiffany, Burberry right outside the door. It's only one block from the Trinita Bridge, which is the next one up from the Ponte Vecchio. The hotel is a short walk from the train station... More

The location is wonderful, the room is nice, the shower was one of the best we found in Italy, the restaurant was awesome. Very good value for the money. The only cons were that the wifi was kind of slow, but I can live with that. I would stay again!

pros: this hotel in the BEST location in Florence. It is on the "Rodeo Drive" of Florence next door to the finest boutiques. Upon entering it is lovely and inviting. The hotel workers (maids, breakfast staff etc.) go over and above for the guests. cons: the front desk staff, just ok. give a bit of attitude. The rooms, though good size... More

Like pretty much any hotel in historical city center, the rooms are all different and to a large extend the experience depends on which room you'd get. We were lucky enough to be put into a junior suite which is a large room overlooking the square. It was very nicely appointed with antique furniture with very comfortable beds high ceiling... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on a recent visit to Florence. Wonderful old building, magnificent room, nice and quiet. The bathroom was a little shabby but spotlessly clean. The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast offered a great selection of choices and very good coffee. Loved the roof top garden. Would definatley recommend a stay here.

I feel like your hotel is your first experience with a new city and can set the tone. I cant tell you how much I wish that my stay at this hotel met my expectations and that my first experience in this beautiful city was good. First of all this was annual birthday trip with a friend. My first time... More
