We unreservedly recommend the Beacci Tornabuoni hotel! We spent an incredible 4 nights there. Everything about it is great: the staff are very courteous, the decor beautiful, b'fast plentiful and very good. We stayed in a standard room for 2 nights, and in a suite for the other 2 nights. Both were equally clean and well-maintained. The terrace of the... more

My wife and I were very pleased to find this great value in central Florence. The hotel is a converted palace and was the most beautiful hotel that we stayed in during our Honeymoon. The hotel has a great living room and an even better roof top terrace that is used as a bar. the place is ideal for couples... more

The hotel could not have been better. It was charming in decor with a warm attentive staff. The outdoor dining terrace was beautiful and the continental breakfast one of the best we had in Italy. It has a great location within walking distance of almost everything. I would highly recommend it. more

We just spent 4 nights at this hotel. Our room was charming, quaint, and comfortable. The Jr Suite had a beautiful view of Florence as promised. The breakfast served was delicious with fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, parma ham, cheese, etc. The staff were very attentive and carried our tray to our room if we chose to eat there. We were... more

The hotel is in the Santa Trinita area, short walk or a bridge away from the Ponte Vecchio and short walk to all other sights in Florence as well as the bus/train station. Its about a 10 min walk to the Santa Maria Novella train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, clean, big. The bathrooms... more

I don't know if there are a completely different tier of rooms at this hotel, but the room we stayed in was not pleasant. First off, it was in dire need of a paint job - the walls were dirty and had the scuffs of many years of abuse. The shower had a faucet directly under a non-adjustable shower head,... more

This hotel is fantastic. We can't wait to return! Our room (221) was magnificant! It had 20' ceilings, hard wood floors, his & her closets, & a "seperate" bedroom area (seperate from the living room). The bed was comfortable. The sofa & chairs in the living room were great. The bathroom had both a tub & a large shower with... more

We were there over the Easter holidays. The weather was wonderful. So was the hotel. I loved the ambiance. The furnishings were antique. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Everyone spoke some English. Rooftop garden/bar was wonderful. Very close to all activities. Hotel had a great breakfast, which was included. We were five in our group. We had a... more

We had room 33. It has a tiny balcony, a good bathroom and a lovely feel. I liked the place a lot - good service, very quiet, wonderful ambience. The breakfast was fine - not special ingredients but varied and plentiful and in a comfortable room with good ambience and service. I didnt use the bar but iit looked good,... more
