The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Florence on foot, close to excellent restaurants, the historic sites, and shopping. We have stayed at the Hotel Alessandra twice over the years. The most recent was this past March. This is a nice, family owned hotel. And when you stay there, you feel part of the family as well. Whatever you need, they help you with it. It's very centrally located...just steps from anywhere you might want to go in Florence.... more

The hotel and room was very clean and the coffee very good. It felt Italian with no fuss. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was near all the main tourist sites and near a bus stop to the station. A good price considering its position. more
