The owners and staff are wonderful. They are very kind, thoughtful, considerate, and helpful. The breakfasrt is served in a private room with quite a selection of things to eat. Their suggestions for restaurats were always excellent--wonderful local food which is what we wanted. They were extremely helpful to me in making reservations in advance for some museums as well... more

Excellent location. Easily accessible to major points of interest. Many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Close to artisan shops and markets. Informative and helpful staff. Would stay here again and will enthusiastically recommend the hotel to friends. more

We were so warmly welcomed and treated with such wonderful friendly hospitality during our stay at Hotel Allesandra. The Hotel is very charming, VERY HIGH CEILINGS, we had a great view of the cobblestone walkway below. What a find!! This hotel is a gem in Florence. The location is prime. Walk one block to the Ponte Vecchio and the other direction 1 block is the Santa Trinita bridge. I loved Hotel Alessandra. It has genuine Italian charm in it's bricks and mortar but also in the people who run it.
