Friendly, family run hotel. Very clean. Have stayed there for many years and always get a warm welcome. Within walking distance of all sites and museums. A block away from San Lorenzo market and a quick walk to the train station. Owner has a great interest in art so it is decorated with many wonderful paintings, posters etc. Cheery environment in... It is within easy walking distance (5 minutes) of the railway station (and bus stop for Pisa Airport) even with luggage. It's also within 5 minutes of the cathedral, Accademia gallery and San Lorenzo market, and about 10 minutes to the Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizzi and Ponte Vecchio. As it is a cheap, 2 star hotel there are no luxury extras,... More

We enjoyed our stay in Florence and one of the best parts was that the hotel is perfectly located. It was just a short walk away from everything that you want to see and do in Florence. We arrived early and they held our luggage for us. The room smelled of cigarette but we left the window open and this... More

It was our first time in Florence and were very lucky with the hotel. The people working the desk are extremely friendly, the ladies for the breakfast are helpful. The breakfast is basic, but more than enough in my account. The coffee is really ( ! ) fresh and steaming hot ! Loved it ! The rooms are clean and... More

Just loved my stay in Florence at this hotel. It has a great location in the Centro Storico, just 5 mins walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and 10 mins to the Duomo, Uffizi gallery and Accademia. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, hot water, and wifi working perfectly. Loved how hospitable the hosts were- they go... More

We stayed here for one night, left for Cinque Terre and then came back for a second stay on our way back to Assisi. The location is wonderful...within walking distance from the train station and all the sights. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful and the free breakfast was fantastic! We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again... More

Easy walking distance from the train station with luggage. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is on a street with trattorias, bars, a landromat, and a supermarket. It's just a few mins walk to the duomo and a few more the the museums and ponte vecchio. We asked for a quiet room and were accommodated with a room... More

This is a small, tourist hotel, but one with a great location -- close to the railroad station (a real plus if you are carrying your own luggage), nice-sized rooms, and an exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel is close and within easy walking distance to all the major sites. it is on a street that gets some street... More

My wife and I just spent three nights at this hotel. When we first walked in the door we were greeted by friendly staff. With out even asking we were given a map of Florence then he proceeded to mark the important spots for us. He even told us how long it would take to walk to each. The rooms... More
