Location- walking distance to the train station and to all the highlights in central florence yet the street where the hotel is located is nit crowded and noisy. Alot of resto to choose from around the area. Room- room is simple and basic but the bed and pillows are comfortable and clean. They fix and clean your room every day... More

Best hotel of my 21 days in Europe. Location: Walking distance to the train station saves a cab ride when arriving/departing. Florence is incredibly small, so you don't need to be "centrally located" to be able to walk everywhere. I returned 1-2 times each day just to avoid public restrooms. Staff: Absolutely amazing. They answered every question I had, such... More

Stayed here for a night with a GAdventures tour group. The staff were very friendly and spoke great English. We had around 15 people in the tour group so the boys were relocated to another hotel up the street. I thought this was great cooperation rather than trying to squish us all in. Me and 2 other girls were in... More

Friendly, family run hotel. Very clean. Have stayed there for many years and always get a warm welcome. Within walking distance of all sites and museums. A block away from San Lorenzo market and a quick walk to the train station. Owner has a great interest in art so it is decorated with many wonderful paintings, posters etc. Cheery environment in... It is within easy walking distance (5 minutes) of the railway station (and bus stop for Pisa Airport) even with luggage. It's also within 5 minutes of the cathedral, Accademia gallery and San Lorenzo market, and about 10 minutes to the Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizzi and Ponte Vecchio. As it is a cheap, 2 star hotel there are no luxury extras,... More

We enjoyed our stay in Florence and one of the best parts was that the hotel is perfectly located. It was just a short walk away from everything that you want to see and do in Florence. We arrived early and they held our luggage for us. The room smelled of cigarette but we left the window open and this... More

It was our first time in Florence and were very lucky with the hotel. The people working the desk are extremely friendly, the ladies for the breakfast are helpful. The breakfast is basic, but more than enough in my account. The coffee is really ( ! ) fresh and steaming hot ! Loved it ! The rooms are clean and... More

Just loved my stay in Florence at this hotel. It has a great location in the Centro Storico, just 5 mins walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and 10 mins to the Duomo, Uffizi gallery and Accademia. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, hot water, and wifi working perfectly. Loved how hospitable the hosts were- they go... More

We stayed here for one night, left for Cinque Terre and then came back for a second stay on our way back to Assisi. The location is wonderful...within walking distance from the train station and all the sights. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful and the free breakfast was fantastic! We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again... More
