The villa was very nice. But small we had five adults and only one bathroom no privacy as the the rooms were very open plan the terrace was beauiful place to sit and relax the staff were very pleasant and helpful.the rooms were only cleaned once but towels were changed every day over all an enjoyable experience

While it was a little hard to find it, the room was incredible. Very comfortable and relaxing place with comfy rooms beds and lots of space. We loved it and the staff was friendly and took good care of us. The showers never ran out of hot water and had room enough for 5 people.

We were only staying for a couple of nights as we finished our tuscan adventures. Fair to say having came from a 5* hotel in Pisa (that was a complete letdown) and somewhat roughing it in a villa in a forrest, I wasn't exactly looking forward to this. But the staff were great, I was travelling with a 4.5 and... More

A loft apartment offered good views and a lovely terrace setting for early morning and evening. Apartment well furnished and clean, modern; desperately needed a kettle though. Low ceilings mean keeping head down to avoid pain... Secure and quiet apartment, street parking outside at 1 euro an hour. Mosquitoes an issue at night!

To start our trip around Chianti and Maremma aria in Toscana, we chose Villa il Mosaico because the Hertz rental car office was nearby. (We wanted to avoid driving in the middle of Firenze city.) They have several rooms furnished differently (both two rooms we stayed were beautiful). We would like to return this villa if we have chance to... More

We stayed for 6 nights, all in all very good. 5 minutes from the tram line to the center of Florence which is just 15 minutes away... Stylish, clean, well furbished. All modern but with a touch of old style. We were in apartment number 11 and we had a fantastic stay. Quiet, with everything you need for a short... More

Although we are probably coming more often to Florence, I avoid this hotel in future. We made no good experience when the entrance card during the night did not open and we could not enter the house anymore/standing on the street. Unpleasant: There even was no "sorry" from the guests, just "It should have been our fault, why the card... More

staff went out of their way to help us: - unfortunately late October (27 and on) in Florence, it can get very cold especially at night, but as we were told the Italian state would fine anyone turning on their heat. Feel bad for the Italians, shivering their way into December. Maybe the authorities making up these stupid laws, live... More

Behind the impressive gates lies a place of contrast and charm. The apartments are connected yet quiet and the sounds of the village ring out creating a bit of charm and character. The inside of each apartment is very different creating a intimate and varied space. With eco-friendly features the location both supplies and lacks. It supplies light through gracious... More

The villa is beautiful and well-kept. It was very clean, as well. It is an neighborhood just outside of the city centre and easily accessible by the tram. TIP: If staying for a few days, make sure you get a tourist tram pass. It’s a great value for the money, and the tram runs frequently all day/night. We stayed in... More
