By accident we ended up in the Villa Montartino, as our other hotel was overbooked. No need to complain though...We found it heaven on earth, and hope to go back soon for a longer visit. The Villa Montartino was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We stayed there for two weeks, using the Villa as homebase as we explored Tuscany. Florence is only minutes away by taxi, but you feel like you're deep in the Tuscan countryside. I have never experienced better service than we received at the Montartino. I heartily recommend it to anyone! more
