We chose this hotel for our honeymoon because of the excellent deal offered via expedia.com, the good reviews and the way it looked on its website, and what we got even exceeded our expectations! The hotel's location is beautiful, surrounded as it is by it's own parkland and within view of palatial Tuscan villas and stunning avenues of cypress and... More

A very nice and quiet hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is near the bus station with one bus to the old city center, but the point is the bus service finishes too early (around 9:30 pm). The breakfast needs huge improvement, I can say it's the only disadvantage in the hotel ... Very few choices for... More

The hotel and grounds were exactly as represented and we were not disappointed. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio. The room and bathroom were large and the room was very comfortable. It was a very peaceful place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and they arranged a day trip to Cinque Terra... More

We loved staying at the Villa Betania. Quiet and comfortable with large rooms. The staff were great and very helpful. We enjoyed walking along the picturesque roads in the area and the staff recommended some excellent restaurants nearby. A great hotel for couples and families.

The Hotel Villa Betania is a beautiful property on the outskirts of downtown Florence. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and modern decor. The bathrooms are more spacious and functional than the typical Italian bathroom. The location is not ideal, but I knew that when I booked it. It is a 20-25 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio (to reach... More

+ clean and spacious rooms + staff is pleasant and helpful + the hotel is a romanic villa that gives you a very comfy feeling - far from the city and the bus drives only twice per hour and last one is at 9 pm. - very basic breakfast

It's a villa, so it is very romantic. There is a very interesting garden where you can relax after tiresome sightseeing. The staff are very good. they speak excellent English. There was a little problem with our bill but the receptionist managed to sort it out quickly and efficiently. It is a bit far from everything and there is no... More

We are thrilled that we decided to stay at Villa Betania. It is a chance to experience a different type of accommodation when travelling while still enjoying all the amenities of a traditional hotel. The grounds of the hotel are well landscaped and the entire property looks like it is a scene from a movie. The staff are very attentive... More

The hotel was in beautiful gardens with free car parking on site. Air conditioned spacious rooms were comfortable. The hotel is very pretty and well kept. breakfast was a bit disappointing but did not spoil our stay.

I traveled to Italy with my childhood best friend. First of all, we found this hotel to be very conveniently located to the train station- it cost 14 Euro to take a taxi to the hotel and took less than 10 minutes. The hotel is beautiful and private, set back off the main road. There is a lovely courtyard outside,... More
