If you choose this hotel, you are many blocks from city center. The rooms are barren...poor lighting, no comfortable seating and the "kitchen " is barely a cupboard. Room was too warm, no ac. There is no lobby and the only escape from the dismal room are a few tables in the courtyard. If you don't stake one out early,... More

Far 20 minutes by foot from the centre, the hotel is located in a quiet area, the ideal for groups of students or families with little children. Starting from the building, the residence is an old palace dedicated to a Pistoia's Bishop, with an architectural structure characterized by huge columns and arcades that give to the visitors an immediate taste... Turned up at 6am today after 16 overnight hour train trip from Cologne. Staff were very professional and had us settled with a minimum of fuss. Apartment full of character but with modern amenities. As soon as we raised any minor question it was resolved immediately. Located very close to town and we look forward to a great week.

My wife and I travelled to Italy with her sister-in-law. We had a suite with 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a sitting room with a kitchenette. The hotel is beautiful - was originally a 16th century palace. The buffet breakfast, which was included was delicious. They offered cereals, fruits, meats, pastries, eggs, bacon, juices, coffee, tea and more. You could... More

Me and my partner had a short stay of only 2 nights. We were impressed by the spacious room and bathroom and found that the breakfast they provided was the best we had had on our Europe trip to date. We also loved its location - was a quiet area and only took around 15mins to get into the center... More

We are a 40something married couple away for a well deserved break from work and our young 'uns... We booked our accommodation well in advance and paid a premium rate with no discounts or offers. On arrival, reception is difficult to find but once there, although the receptionist was friendly, she was entirely distracted and we were not important enough... More

Dear Becky, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We are sorry that our rooms did not fulfill your full expectations. The hotel was originally a monastery, we did a lot of renovation work and we struggle to preserve the beauty of the frescos, and the works of arts. The hotel offer also a strategic... More

I booked this hotel attending to a course because it was recommended by the course committee. It says it is 4 stars, but it is in my opinion 2+ or 3, 2 in Asian standards. Nothing really bad, but I expected much more for the price. The bed is comfortable and it is well cleaned. The AC is noisy but... More

We arrived in Florence as a group and were accommodated in the Annexe behind the Hotel and accessible by a covered walkway. All amenities were fairly dated but worked, except there was a sink and cooker arrangement concealed behind doors at the side of the wardrobe, which was currently surplus to requirements. The towels and linen were first class, but... More
