Whilst I appreciate that Italy's rating system is different from other Countries, I agree with some of the previous reviews, that this hotel is not worthy of a 4 star. We were greeted OK when we arrived and told immediately that there was a hotel tax that was expected, "in cash" at the end of the trip. We thought this... More

We booked a hotel a little our of the historical centre to save a bit of money. I must say we were very surprised with how close this hotel actually was. Within 5 minutes east you were really into the busy parts of Florence. 5 minutes west and you were into the park, which also has a public outdoor swimming... More

Not much to say... Concierge was polite to us we didnt engage with him much, as we found it easier using our google maps from the train station as its a 12 min walk. (ROAMING FREE Inc of network 3UK minutes and data for free)anyway had room 202 which was ok what youd expect from a converted office building to... More

Facts: - Mosquitoes in lobby area - My A/C barely cooled my room and when I asked for help they did nothing to fix the problem since the A/C was blowing air - Breakfast extremely underwhelming, no eggs, no bacon, just croissants, salami, and cheese. - Toilet took forever to recuperate water - Cheap bed mattresses - this hotel needs... We arrived at the hotel from the train station (10-15 minute walk) to check-in earlier than planned. The gentleman at reception (black hair and goatee) was very rude and abrupted and questioned why we were staying in Italy if we could only speak a litlle bit of italien. We were then told to put our luggage in the room next door... More

I travel often and this is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. There is an EXTREMELY rude concierge and hotel is far from four stars. If you're looking for a hotel covered in black mold, dead bugs and raw sewage smells leaking through the vents then this is your place;) .. Honestly disgusting. Oh and I forgot... More

We took a taxi from the train station. Cost us E8.50. On foot 15 mins. Quiet road in diplomatic area. Older style hotel. Very welcoming reception (Daniella excellent). Room spacious and well furnished. Bed comfortable and bathroom very good. We were in a corner room 203, with two large windows. Aircon worked well. Breakfast was cold buffet style, and good.... More

This is a lovely traditional italian hotel situated conveniently close to the centre of Florence. The staff were friendly, polite and incredibly helpful, especially Giovianni who even offered to lend us an umbrella when it rained. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was very nice and again the staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is two minutes... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the train station, and a good 20 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. It's definitely an older European building. The rooms are small and feels older. It's in a quieter area of town, so it's great to sleep in the quiet. Daniel checked us in, who was... More

This hotel is a short walk from the river on a quiet and narrow street. Our room was large as it had a king bed. The bathroom had a whirlpool tub but we couldn't get it to work with the minimal instructions given by the staff. Another problem with the tub is that we were unable to release the stopper... More
