We stayed here in August 2013 for 3 nights. The hotel is located a pleasant 20 minute riverside walk from the main sites of Florence but that suited us for its peace and quiet. Other people we met staying in the centre said that their hotels were very noisy at all hours. We booked a triple room for the 2... More

The hotel is modern, clean, and spacious. The rooms are large and well-appointed, and very comfortable. The bar is comfortable, and the bartender even gave me a bowl of ice to bring to my room for my water (no ice machines in most European hotels). The courtyard is relaxing and a good place to just sit and plan your day.... More

When you walk in you really think you entered a really nice hotel. That is till you get to the rooms. They are good size and have some nice features but the amount of wall paper which was hanging of the walls was shocking, bathrooms very dated and showers a joke. We asked for an iron and where told to... More

Bruno was a great bartender and so friendly! Our rooms were great and very nice courtyard. Front desk was helpful when trying to make reservations and getting taxis. View was not bad either I would stay here again.

I don't remember to ever had such a bad experience with a hotel. First of all here I found the worst customer service in my life. The people at the reception would not look at you or answer your questions or notice your presence. I would wait until they would finish whatever they were doing and pay attention to me... More

We stayed here for two nights at the start of a cruise and I was amazed at how big and beautiful our room was, although others in out party had rooms smaller they weren't small. The beds were unbelievably comfy and just what we needed after long days of exploring this beautiful city, there was free wifi, which the younger... More

Stopped over in Florence for one night before heading down to Pignano for a wedding. Hotel looks a little run down on the outside but very charming on the inside. Very Simple check in process which took a few minutes, had to carry all our bags to our room via a tiny tiny elevator (room for 2 people and 2... More

My worst experience with any hotel in my life would be with NH Hotel. I booked my Florence, Italy accommodation through Expedia for the wrong month but notified NH immediately after I reserved. Expedia reassured me that this mistake is common but most hotels would understand and honour a refund for such issues. After several emails and long distance phone... More

Room was clean and bath nice. Bed large. Room showed some rough edges where nicks had not been repaired. TV was a mess, but we were not there for TV watching. To get to places like the Duomo would be a taxi ride, but probably not expensive. We were with group, so we did not have to deal with taxis.... More

Large hotel with pleasant reception area and staff. Location , 7euro taxi ride to centre of city or other public transport probably available. Plenty of restaurants and small shops around. Breakfast better than most. Fresh fruit and good coffee as well as the usual other standard breakfast fare. Room. Good size with very comfortable beds good bedding and pillows. Very... More
