Cannot fault this hotel. Staff where exceptionally welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Room was good and plenty to eat at Breakfast. The day manager was a very nice gentleman. Cannot offer any faults at this hotel. Night manager also helpful and friendly, and kept a watchful eye on my pride and joy. Paul and Karen

Not a luxurious hotel but very adequate. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were asked by the receptionist if we needed a map of Florence, when she handed it to us I was not expecting her to mark on it all the important spots and where to catch the important buses for sightseeing and also two different ways of getting... The management and staff were most friendly even though they did not always understand English! The room was nice and clean with a wonderful balcony. The hotel was just a short walk away from the river as well as the bus stop. The lift was a little scary...very, very small!

We only had 2 nights to spend in Florence on a train trip through Italy - if we had 2 more, we would stay here again. It was only a 10-minute walk from the train station - the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a great start to the day, as well - pastries, coffee, espresso,... Although it was difficult to locate the hotel itself was very comfortable , the breakfast was simple but filling and staff was very helpful, they spoke fluent English and were able to help us locate the near by tourist places .

I spent 3 nights at the hotel. The room and bathroom are little bit old, but clean and usable. It's around 700m from the trains station (I went walking, with a hand luggage...) and it has a bus stop near, so it's easy to go to the centre. The breakfast is very simple. The staff was nice and attended my... More

Our five-day stay at the Jane was very pleasant. All of the staff spoke good English and no request was too difficult for them. Our room was of good size and the bed was comfortable. The small refrigerator in the room was much appreciated. Breakfast was good, and the available wi-fi worked well. We walked to the small square nearby... More

I am a hotelier and visited so many countries and stayed in so many hotels. But i can tell you these italians they dont know anything about hotel business , even though 3 star or 2 star doesnt matter, they dont know how to greet the customer. Hotel is a standard hotel, poor breakfast facilities, all cutlery is dirty. You... More

Was nervous at first because I had actually booked the Orcagna Hotel across the street, only to find a sign that it was closed for renovations and that they had moved all reservations to the Jane. But in the end, I was very happy with my stay at the Jane. The staff (who all spoke English) were very friendly and... More
