More than the hotel, it's the staff that make this place what it is. A perfect place to camp up while in Florence. Rooms are a little dated but the location makes up for it. The breakfast is limited but enough to set you off on your day. Bread, cold cuts, yoghurt, juice, cereal and fruit. The bistrot has a... More

This is a charming hotel just a few minutes' walk from The Duomo. It's a fifteen minute walk from the central station, but not an easy walk with big cases - a taxi will be less than €10 and is easier. Our room was on the very top floor, very spacious and traditionally furnished. Our luggage was carried up the... More

Spent 4 nights here in March. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The bistro, farm to table, choices were wonderful. After long days of touring we had dinner here for 3 or our 4 nights. Couldn't ask for anything better. The rooms were comfortable and full of charm. I definately would stay here again. So close to all the... More

I really want to give this place a good review because on the surface it was fine. I trusted tripadvisor but it totally failed us. It was close to the Duomo, steps from the Accademia and a 10 minute walk to the Uffizi. So the location was great. HOWEVER my advice would be come here in May when they turn... More

Dear Nidhi C, we are sorry that you think TripAdvisor totally failed you. Good to hear you appreciate the location even if this is very easy as our hotel is 6 minutes walking far from Piazza Duomo and 2 minutes far from Accademia museum. Year by year we do have always to point out some details about heating on and... More

We stayed in this hotel for only 1 night, and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had a room for 4, and at the last minute we had to add another person, the staff jumped in and made us welcome. Julia at the front desk went out of her way to book us a terrific... More

Stayed at this hotel in June 2014. Friendly staff and very comfortable room. Very nice bathroom and toiletries. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of room. Delicious breakfast included. You can walk to all the sights. Very centrally located. They have a nice laundry service as well. Turnaround is a day. Would definitely return to this hotel... More

When I research hotels I look first for great location and then for a quality hotel. I found everything that I wanted in this hotel. First of all, the location is perfect. It is just a few blocks from the Duomo and the center of the city. Secondly, it's a small, quaint hotel with great service! We are a family... More

We stayed at Il Guelfo Bianco this past week for 3 days, and it was lovely. Conveniently located within walking distance to most locations, the rooms were restored with charm from a 16 century estate. Each room was like a gallery with modern art. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were comfortable. I would definitely go here again.

We stayed here in mid-March 2015, our second visit to this hotel. We loved it in 2004, and this stay was excellent, again. Our room was large and comfortable with interesting architectural details. The location is very convenient, a few blocks from the Duomo. The hotel is quiet, and while on a busy street, we did not hear any traffic... More

This comfortable and artistically decorated hotel is in a perfect location just a few blocks north of the Duomo in the center of Florence. Our room, number 115, was more than adequate in size and had 2 large windows with shutters facing the courtyard. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was very pleasant. This hotel is very clean and... More
