Have just returned from a tour of some of Italy's main cities, and stayed at this hotel during our stop in Florence. Clean and adequate rooms, food good, staff very helpful, and as for the location it is an easy 20-30 minute walk into the central of Florence. Would recommend it to friends. more

La Meridiana is a 25 minute walk from the center of town. It doesn't have many amenities and its rooms are much like an old, outdated American Motel 6. It is not situated near any attractions whatsoever, nor any restaurants or anything desireable to see in Florence. There are plenty of other places to stay much closer to the Duomo... more
