We had a very good stay at the Hotel Rex. The location was great. Good breakfast. The staff was very helpful and responsive to requests. We were four in a quad which was a bit small but we managed. I would rate it a good overall value and would recommend it. More

The hotel is old and rooms rather dated. However it was clean enough, and the location cannot be beat. It is VERY central to all you could wish to see in Florence. Easy walking access to the SMN Train station and the price was right. The staff were very helpful, and polite. Would stay here again. More

Think of this a as a cross between a very old Motel 6 in a good location. The staff speaks English, the rooms speak of antiquity, and only your wallet will thank you.
