Perfect place, location perfect rooms. There wasn't anything else we would have expected and not received from our stay at this hotel with the free breakfast as an additive. All good rooms, beds, TV etc. with the only area of potential upgrade would be the bathrooms which held water both in the Tub and Basin. In all good place to... More

Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I was nervous about putting my luggage anywhere but off the ground. Bed sheets were not clean and walls had gaps in moulding. In the end, great location but didn't get great rest. Be ready for noise all night off the streets but that makes sense given lively nature of Florence and bars... More

Everything what you need if you want to have a rest from walk. Here in front is Pub so if you are grumpy person better not stay here. In any case everything is old but clean. I've paid 60€ per night and check out is at 11. Excellent! And what is important it's in the center. You can walk everywhere...

We weren't expecting a lot when we booked this Florence hotel, which we chose for its reasonable price and excellent location. But we were charmed by the staff, who provided spot-on suggestions for lesser-known sites and activities. Room was comfortable and not as small as we were expecting. Bathroom was modern and everything worked fine. Included breakfast consisted of fruits,... More

The Hotel is in a great location. The Quadruple room we stayed in was quite small for 4 people and the layout was not nice. The bathroom was very tiny, the TV and intercom were not working when we got in.

Location good but old man at front counter not interested. Pretended not to know anything. Don't bother with breakfast. Rooms were old bathroom dirty and mouldy. Wifi only worked downstairs in the foyer barely!

We spent 1 night in this hotel. Rooms and its bathroom are spacious and sparklingly clean. Its location is in the middle of the tourist attractions. Basilica di San Lorenzo is just 400m away. The Santa Maria Novella Train Station is 5 minutes walk only. The tourist attractions such Palazzo Vecchio, Boboli Gardens, Pitti Palace, etc can be accessed by... More

The hotel is well situated but parking is a big problem and very expensive. If u come by car look for a better hotel. Our room is small and dirty with no mini bar. The hotel website promised a mini bar but no, they sent me to the made to put our food in kitchen fridge. Not recomended at all

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
