We booked this hotel at the "Last minute deals" counter in Termini Station in Rome. Needless to say, we didn't do any research on the hotel so we had no idea what we were in for. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was adequate, the bathroom large and clean, the reception desk helpful, the breakfast generous, the location convenient, and... more

Very close to the train station and a nice look and feel to the hotel. The room was clean and we had a balcony overlooking the back courtyard which was nice. Breakfast was decent with yogurt, fruit, pastries, hardboiled eggs and juice. No free wifi. more

I had a really pleasant stay (5 nights) at this hotel. My room was spacoius and very clean. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was great, especially coffee. Location is perfect - close to Railway station and Buses; short walk and you are in the heart of Florence. Definitely would stay again! more

After reading reviews we opted for this hotel for value/location. I asked for and received a room with a view of the Duomo (room 45) which on reflection was not such a good choice as the room and bathroom were probably the smallest in the hotel (our friends joined us for a couple of days and had a more sizeable... more

this nice hotel is very very comfortable for those who wants to be in the middle of the firenze life! (and nightlife!) is sure little and cute even if some rooms are not so large and even if is not a deluxe hotel but for people like me the like to be out visiting all day long. it's really just... more

To the person who had to eat at McDonalds... are you kidding me?! The breakfast here was the best we had in our three week stay in Italy. It was fresh and there was a large selection. The room was very nice and looked very well kept. Staff were pleasant. The location was very good and an easy walk to... more

Stayed in Feb 2005, for a 5-day visit to Florence. The room was very small, and the water pressure uneven. Walls were stucco and not all that clean of molding. Good location, but that's about all. more

Hotel is very near the train station. Stayed for 1 night. Walls were cracked and the paint work was old. Toilet was alright, but could be better. Windows were rusty. Breakfast had nothing much, had to eat Macdonald's. Most of the stuff were finished and selection was little. more

Stayed for about a week at Hotel Sempione. This clean, modest, no-frills but comfortable hotel is a good compromise between price and location: closer to the Santa Maria Novella train station which is less "central" and hence lower in price, but not so peripheral where nearly everything in the historic center couldn't be reached easily by foot. Florence is small.... more

This was a nice hotel to stay at - providing you are not planning on spending a lot of time in the room. The rooms are small - I stayed in a double, and it was a bit cramped. But the rooms were very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The staff was very accomodating - I needed... more
